"Our stay in Hawaii was absolutely magical. Having this lovely lil bungalow that includes a kitchen, laundry and beach front access was the perfect home base for all of our adventures. Hosts communicate really well and give great tips for local finds!"

"The grounds and the view are great, the cabin has been partially restored. It was a very rustic kitchen set-up, but we made it work. Only real problem were ants. They could find a single grain of sugar anywhere.We named the rooster that hangs around there Hei-Hei. "This place is a great - hosts are amazing people. They are intelligent, passionate, flexible, and friendly. Sunsrise view is great. Incredibly safe environment. You really feel like you have a degree of quiet separation from the bustle of Hilo that is only a short drive away. So best of both worlds. The tradeoff is that the village access does require a short drive on unpaved roads. So prepare mentally that this is a slightly more secluded location. You get a simple but thoughtfully...

"Great Location, vary spacious house. Loved the getaway feel. Lots of room. Enjoyed the pool.Unfortunately the hot tub (one of the main reasons we booked this) did not work the entire time we stayed. I don't fault the owner nor property management though, I think things happen and its okay. The owners were very responsive and I think they got it fixed for the next guests.Thank you for your hospitality."

"A wonderful guesthouse a few miles outside of town. It had everything we needed and the communication with the owners was great. The only small downside was the combo washer/dryer took 5 hours to do a very small load and we couldn't use it overnight because it was right next to the pullout bed."

"Expedia was the problem for the check-in process. If your travels take you to Hilo, this is the place to stay. It’s on quite possibly the most beautiful neighborhood in Hilo. Beautiful setting and great hosts. There is quite a bit of coqui frogs and it sounds like a frogpocalyose. Lol but after the first night, we slept through it. Truly awesome lodging option! Brand new rooms. So nice. 10+ AAA+"
