"Our overnight stay with our small dog at the Galloping Getaway was such a pleasant surprise. Having just completed a long day's drive, the beauty and quiet of the property was so refreshing. We found the apartment pristine in appearance, with many thoughtful items added to make us feel right at home. "Great host and clean apt in a perfect location! In historic downtown Martinsburg, where we walked to dinner and a show, then a great low cost breakfast at Boyd’s in the morning. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with supplies, and couch was comfy. Would recommend again!"

"Park your car and walk to all the wonderful sites that town has to offer. My fiancé loved watching the trains come and go, and they did not wake us through the night. The outlets in the living room didn't work, but that wasn't a big enough deal to remove a star. The rocking chairs on the porch were so comfortable, and it was great to have a free reserved parking spot since it costs 20 and is difficult to get a public spot later in the day to tour. Within two blocks, you have several options...

"I stayed 2 nights at the Cozy Getaway and it was exactly that—super nice, comfortable, and just as pictured. Perfect for 1–2 travelers, maybe even with one kiddo. Kimberly, the host, communicated well, was attentive, and very friendly. My favorite part was definitely the porch—it made the whole stay feel extra relaxing. The place was spotless, and the location is great with good food within walking distance.I’m almost hesitant to share how much I liked it because I definitely plan to come back!"

Chris was amazing to work with and very friendly and accommodating; Becky was quick with responses to our questions. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and just looking at the beautiful scenery. The bed was super comfortable and shower was super hot. We would definitely stay here again!"
