"Absolutely loved our stay here. Wildgoose cottage is lovely and we enjoyed every minute there. Living in a terraced house on an estate it was so amazing to stay here with such beautiful surroundings. To look out of the window and see deer, rabbits, pheasants and the horses in the field at the back. The cottage is clean and comfortable and fully equipped."

"Booked the apartment for a short stay. Good communication from the owner with entry instructions, good directions. It is obvious that the apartment sees a lot of footfall being very close to the seafront of the north bay, but it offered everything needed for the stay; very comfortable, clean furnishings; ample clean towels and bedding; nice clean kitchen with breakfast bar; good sized fridge freezer; washing machine. Bathroom was a nice size, very clean, and warm. I didn't need parking so unsure...

"This is a beautiful place to stay. The house is perfect, high spec yet maintaining a homely feel. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Well stocked kitchen. Within a stones throw from the beach and a beautiful coastal walk into Whitby. We had an amazing 3 night stay and we would definately return. "The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return."

"Was a lovely building back in the day. But very tired and in need of refurbishment. Our room SU03 was awful felt like we were in the cellar. Narrow corridor of which ours smelt of faeces. Said it was a double with window but might as well have not bothered with it being frosted glass which made it even darker. Felt claustrophobic. So many dogs around the hotel in corridors and reception. 2 dogs were having a go at each other I had to go another way round. Never again will we stay here. Parking...
