"The hotel has been refurbished from top to bottom. It’s a beautiful historic building. The owners were meticulous in keeping the history of the hotel and adding all the modern conveniences. The room was relaxing and had wonderful amenities. Microwave, fridge, coffee machine, tea, and sweet treats. They use local vendor products from businesses in Hillsboro. "My stay was comfortable even though I came across oddities I've never encountered before. The first was that to check in, I had to go to the gas station next door where I had to wait for a phone call from the clerk to someone in charge of the Lodge. The second, and this was a good one, was that the locks are digital keypads. I was given the code when I checked in. The room was comfortable and fulfilled our needs. Although we could have used a hair dryer in the room. I would stay here again."
