"The hotel was really nice for a great price. When we first were in our room, there was a problem so I called the front desk and it was resolved right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Coming to 9 Mile Farm is an off the grid experience! We stayed in the Eco House and had fun with living with the basics, meaning no running water, battery run lights, and a wood burning stove for heat! The bed was comfortable and it was nice to enjoy the quietness a"

"We had a great time exploring the island. The house was nice and well stocked. The deck had a great view of the water and we saw seals out playing ever evening."

"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"Chris hosted us for a short visit to the area. The room is clean and updated. The listing was accurate, and the bed was comfortable. I believe we were in the flight path for paine field but after a couple of early evening flyovers, it was quiet. The property is lovely and the view cannot be beat. "

"We had rented this house previously and rented it again for a family gathering. It has been great both times we’ve rented. The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries."

"Great place for a family looking for relaxed retreat but still within greater Seattle area or looking to travel via west ferries! The place was clean, accurate and organized upon arrival and the host is communicative. Highly recommend bringing a car not too large since the driveway is quite narrow. "

"Very off the grid. Nice walkable property. The bed in our tent was very uncomfortable, extremely hard. Head to cut our visit sorry due to illness but would go back with extra supplies to make the bed more comfortable."

"Cabin was clean and comfy with fabulous views. Access to beach and location on Penn Cove was spectacular. Only way the stay could have been better is if the skies were sunny and blue and the whales had swam by to say "Hello.". "

"Nicely equipped, older cottage in a very private area with a fantastic beach location. We had it all to ourselves. It is down a narrow private road. The cottage had everything we needed. Saw lots of wildlife in and out of the water. Host was very nice and accommodating. I would stay here again. "

I read for hours in there with the stunning lake as a backdrop.Even though this property allows pets you'd never know, not a single animal hair in sight.Hot tub was relaxing and clean. Sauna was also top notch. Property owner worked with us on a couple of our eccentricities/requests including an hour early check in.Lots of very clear instructions both...
