"Upon arrival, the gentleman who greeted us was extemly nice and professional. However, he didnt know wich room or area we were staying in. He asked if we were staying in the Farm house we said yes. He then began to ask if we were sure we wanted to stay in that room since it was two bedrooms and there was only two of us. (Absolutely this is what we paid for.) "While the room looked like it was recently painted I was disappointed to discover it was for a handicapped person without any prior notice. I imagine it impacted the price of the room and perhaps made it cheaper but I would have paid more if I was offered a regular room without the open shower stall. I shared the room with others so I would have liked a closed stall without the water spillage. "The property is mediocre. The floors were pretty dirty. The grounds had trash and cigarette butts everywhere. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. The tv didn't work. I was thankful to only be there one day. Great if you are a smoker with pets to stay for a night but that's about it. No coffee maker in the room but there was a dunks nearby. Definitely needs to be cleaned up. I never even saw any staff but the one lady at the desk. I definitely could have gotten more for the price. "

"Stayed here one night while passing through. Room was smaller than I expected (patio king). I also assumed the patio was attached to the room but it was not. Room floor was dirty (sand, etc.) otherwise room was clean. Our coffee pot didn’t work. There was a $50 dog fee upon check in that wasn’t listed at time of booking online so that was a surprise. "Very friendly staff, and comfortable bed. TV didn't connect with remote so we had to get up to turn up the volume and turn on the tv, which was a little annoying. Wifi doesn’t work very well, pretty low speed. Breakfast was delicious at hydrangea house (offered on the first day) and just ok in the manor. Overall staff is friendly and I would stay here again for a no frills stay. "

"We loved this place! Felicia was incredibly helpful from start to finish. We felt very welcome when we walked in. The history of the inn was so incredible. The bar area was wonderful and so was the bartender. We stayed in one of the King suites. It was so clean and peaceful. We will definitely be back."
