This cozy and comfortable cottage offers the perfect country retreat, set on 2 private acres just 6 miles from the Village of Ellicottville and Holiday Valley Resort.

Ideal for families or couples, this home provides room to relax both indoors and outdoors. Enjoy the warmth of a roaring wood-burning fireplace in the living room, a gas fireplace in the kitchen, and cozy bedrooms. The spacious deck is perfect for sipping your morning coffee, while the fire pit invites you to gather under the stars.

Whether you're exploring the area's ski slopes, hiking trails, or charming shops and restaurants, this is the perfect spot to unwind.

This charming home is thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation:

Main Level:

A fully equipped eat-in kitchen with a gas fireplace, perfect for preparing meals.
A spacious living room with a large TV and a wood-burning fireplace, creating the perfect atmosphere for cozy evenings.
Two bedrooms (one Queen, one Full) separated by a full bathroom with a shower and large soaking tub.
A second full bathroom (shower only) is located off the kitchen.
Loft:

A third bedroom with a Queen-sized bed overlooks the living area, providing additional space for guests.
Outdoor Space:

A large deck with a gas grill and seating, ideal for outdoor dining or relaxing.
A generous yard with a fire pit, perfect for enjoying cool evenings and starry skies.
The home also features central A/C for warm weather comfort.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the entire home, including the yard, deck, and fire pit. A four-digit access code will be provided before your arrival for easy self-check-in.

The cabin is located in a peaceful country setting in Great Valley, offering a serene escape while still being close to local attractions. The Village of Ellicottville, known for its restaurants, shops, and year-round events, is just a 10-minute drive away. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the proximity to Holiday Valley Resort, Allegheny State Park, and other recreational activities.

Getting Around:
A car is recommended for getting around the area. The cabin is just a short drive from Ellicottville (6 miles) and other nearby attractions, including Holiday Valley Resort and Allegheny State Park. Parking is available on-site.

Other Things to Note:
The wood-burning fireplace is stocked with firewood for your convenience.

The property offers plenty of space to relax, but please note that it is in a rural area, so occasional wildlife sightings may occur.

Central A/C is available for warmer months.

Weekend getaway

Very peaceful long weekend getaway for my husband and I. Weā€™re expecting our first in 2 months and wanted a little breather from work and all the baby prep. The cabin is cozy, and we checked out the shops on the Main Street of Ellicottville. It was the quiet retreat we were looking for.

Its beautiful scenery and so peaceful. The amount of stars we seen on the first night was amazing! The fireplace was so nice. We had wifi, but cell service was spotty. Our GPS dropped us a few houses away, my sons did the same thing, but we found it. Nice ppace we would definitely stay again.

Rustic with Modern Features - Great Stay!

My family really enjoys places like this: rustic and well-appointed without being over the top. Interior is cozy and relaxing, has all the things youā€™d expect to make a few nights away restful, and the centerpiece is the stone fireplace - of which we made ample use.Cabin is about 10 minutes south of Ellicottville, so easy drive to the slopes. When youā€™re done, you feel like youā€™re away from it all. Weā€™d rent it again in a heartbeat!

A treasured home and land

My husband and I and our two friends had a wonderful time here. We enjoyed our coffee around the outdoor fire pit the first morning, lounged around the kitchen table over homemade sour dough pancakes, fruit and eggs both mornings, played dominoes in the living room in the evening with the a fire going in the stone fireplace. I can tell this is a treasured home and land, because itā€™s all so well tended and decorated. We enjoyed listening to live music at Gin Mill Friday night. We had an invigorating 4.5 mile hike on Saturday, lucky us we had great weather. All had peaceful sleeps. A million thank yous to the host for sharing your home and land with us.

Off the beaten path

We really enjoyed our stay in early-Feb in the midst of a snowstorm! We were close enough to Holiday Valley for a day of skiing. The home was beautiful and very cozy! We all loved the decor, the ambience, and surroundings. It was very much relaxing and enjoyable to sit by a crackling fire and we had a difficult time leaving the house, because we were so comfortable and at home. We are looking forward to coming back to spend time outside when it's warmer on the patio, porch, and by the fire pit.

Great place but missing a couple of things

Cute cabin, was a good size for 4 people. We did have a couple of snags though. I had asked ahead of time about availability of wood for the fireplace and if the grill was going to be accessible. When we got there there was no wood for the fireplace but we were given a code to get into the woodshed the second day. After a full day of skiing we returned home looking forward to putting our steaks on the grill for dinner only to discover that there was no propane for the grill. Very disappointing after I had asked about both of those things prior to our arrival.

Good place to stay

I actual live right around the corner from the house but didn't have enough room at my house with some extended family coming in town from Texas. So I rented this house. Nice place. Loved the fireplace. Only complaint was wifi was slow and TV was blurry from having a bad signal. Love the location. Worked perfect for the few guests we had stay there.

This was so ideal for me and my husband to get away from ā€œthe grindā€! We used the one bedroom for our luggage and as a dressing room which connected to a wonderful double sink bathroom with a skylight connecting to the serene simple bedroom I really enjoyed waking up in. The mattress was very comfortable! I easily did my yoga practice in the living room and I used the bedroom upstairs to meditate with the wonderful view out the window of the green hills and a picturesque farm. Near that farm down the road parallel to Howe Hill was a place called Pumpkinville where you can get delicious home made baked goods real cheap! The kitchen had everything anyone could need. If youā€™re into aromatherapy there was even a diffuser! Bring your favorite oils! The living room was SO cozy with an enjoyable fireplace, comfy couch and chairs and a good selection of movie channels and YouTube for entertainment. We liked eating breakfast at Katyā€™s in Ellicottville. I felt like it was the most PERFECT place for me to rejuvenate. I canā€™t wait to go back someday and stay longer. What an awesome opportunity to enjoy this home. I am SO grateful to have enjoyed this wonderful property! Thank you!
