"This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped. Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west. The location is a bit further from both Acadia and Bar Harbor than most options, but not significantly so where you'd have to really plan for extra time to get anywhere. The nearby...

"We had an amazing trip and the property lived up to the billing. Check in was a breeze. The code worked on the door the first time. The room was clean and spacious. "We were only here for one night, so our experience was limited, however, the unit was clean, comfortable and well- stocked. The location is off the beaten path and on a dirt road, but was perfect for a quiet stay. We even had deer come through the yard. The only comment I would make is that there was a strong cleaner smell when we arrived. It did mean that the unit was clean, however, maybe use a little less as it was harsh on my family with asthma. Otherwise a great stay."
