"Amazing cabin! It was spotless when we arrived, and in excellent shape. It is a couple of miles down a dirt/gravel road, and you will definitely without question need AWD in winter (maybe even in wet weather, as the house is up a fairly steep hill). The road has houses on it, but is very quiet and seemed to have almost no cars driving by. "The house is just as wonderful as others have said, and the hosts were super responsive by text without intruding in the least — we met Deidre only once & by chance, as it were. The house is definitely compact, but the space is well apportioned. Worth noting that *indoors* it’s all one acoustic space — upstairs or down, all sound is audible to all; and the kitchen is necessarily modest. "Enjoyed our weeks stay, as always. Beautiful farmhouse with everything you can think of for kitchen facilities and a beautiful water view. This very much feels like a family lives here. And the West Hill Pond is right out your back door, a pristine and private pond that is as large as many lakes and totally private. Only 4 or so houses on the entire pond. We particularly enjoyed a daily canoe around the pond and the call of the loons. Unique home and location."

"The cabin was quaint and perfect for what we were looking for. We were close to town, but felt way more isolated. The cabin was off grid, but had running water and electricity. We were comfortable and very happy with our stay. It was beautiful and wildlife was abundant. The hosts were attentive, but not intrusive. We will definitely be back."

"Our stay at this cozy cabin was just what we needed. Ample room, comfortable beds, clean linens and a superb property in a quiet neighbourhood, our kids enjoyed the yard full of snow and their bunking “nook” upstairs. We loved the time together and enjoyed the amenities offered. The owners were always quick to respond. We recommend for a quiet weekend away. "
