  • Esta é uma casa recém-construída, única, aconchegante e eficiente em termos energéticos em 11 acres a cerca de 25 minutos de Montpelier. As vistas são incríveis eo espaço relaxante. A banheira é extra profunda para imersão. O piso inferior tem calor radiante. A cozinha tem bancadas em granito, uma máquina de lavar louça e utensílios de aço inoxidável e todas as comodidades para cozinhar. A água é de um poço e eu adicionei um filtro de água especial, para algumas das águas mais limpas que você nunca vai ter. Nós somos uma casa verde.

    Os dois quartos inferiores têm 3 portas de bolso que podem ser abertas para mais espaço aberto ou fechadas e trancadas para privacidade. O andar de cima tem um sofá definido antes de muitas janelas para um espaço relaxante e vista. Há dois tapetes de yoga disponíveis para uso, juntamente com uma bola de exercício. Eu também tenho chinelos disponíveis para uso dos hóspedes, pois não há sapatos permitidos em casa.
    Todas as áreas da casa estão disponíveis, exceto para o menor loft que atualmente está sendo usado como armazenamento.

Our stay was fabulous. The living space was spacious and comfortable! Well stocked with cooking utensils. The bedrooms upstairs are cozy. Not a lot of privacy, but enough for a few close friends and family. Two of the beds are in a loft so be prepared to climb a ladder. Over all, very little negative to say. If I was ever in the area again, I would stay.

The house was perfect for our family. The pocket doors were great to give more privacy. The beds were super comfortable and everything extremely clean. We will definitely stay there again!

This was one of the most amazing vacation rental houses I've ever stayed at! The house is beautiful and immaculate with everything we needed to cook and relax. It is even prettier than the photos! It's clear Stacey put a lot of thought and love into making this a special place. It made our week visiting friends extra great.

Lovely peaceful home high on a hillside

We had a lovely stay at this cozy house in Marshfield. It had everything we needed and the decor was fun! The beds were comfortable and the deep bathtub was a treat. We had long walks on the country roads early in the morning and enjoyed the sunrises over the mountains. We would definitely go back again!

Loved it

Great house, perfect for small groups and kid friendly. Stacey was an excellent host and easy/available to communicate with as needed (if needed). WiFi is hard in that area of Vermont and it worked perfectly which was helpful as well. We loved it

Great views

We enjoyed the views and open floor plan. Essentially two private bedrooms unless you want to use the ladder to the loft.or twin in the 2nd floor common area.

Nice - Country Setting

Property worked well for us. King Bed was comfortable. It was just two of us and we were out touring the countryside everyday, so we didn't really spend much time at the property.

Vermont Oasis

Spacious and airy home in a quiet corner of VT. The bedroom partitioning is unique, but worked fine for our group of friends, and might be even better for a family. We appreciated the gorgeous view out of the many windows, and the sounds of the birds and wildlife.

The house is very nice. It was a great location for what we had planned for our trip. About an hour from Stowe, and Burlington. The Wi-Fi worked great for us. Sracey was great at communicating with us. Any questions we had she got back to us immediately. The lock box for the key was a little tricky but if you have a light touch it works fine. If you visit in the summer, I recommend bringing a portable fan for upstairs. There are a ceiling fan and a standing fan, but a second fan would have been nice. There was a very friendly stray cat that we named Goldie. She loved pets and sitting in our laps outside. Please read the listing carefully. There is no microwave. There is a toaster oven that worked great for heating up leftovers. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Cozy, calming place!

We live in the area, so always have family/friends stay here! Such cozy beds, very clean and calming spaces. Being about to use the upstairs as separate rooms or one large space is useful for quality family time. House it outfitted with all you need for a short stay or a long stay. Location has access to all the fun stuff in central Vermont, with views, sounds, smells of the countryside.

Stacey was awesome!

Stacey was really helpful when I found out the day before our stay that I had COVID. We had to reschedule and she helped me through the process. I can’t wait for our rescheduled stay this winter!

Winter wonderland

We enjoyed our stay while our daughter raced for the weekend at Craftsbury outdoor center. We were about 40 min from the facility and we all slept well. There wasn’t reliable Wi-Fi or cable at the property, which was our only complaint, but we played board games and did puzzles which was better anyway!

Very nice home in peaceful setting

We needed a place not far from Danville for my daughter's wedding, where my other daughter's family and I could stay. This was exactly what we needed. The bedroom setup is a little odd if you weren't a close family, since all bedrooms have sliding doors to the great room, with one bathroom to share. But it worked great for our family. The home was modern and clean, too.

My partner and I stayed at this beautiful house for a week in September, looking for a secluded place to read, write, play music, and spend time outdoors. Positives: The house is strikingly nice inside, with thoughtfully placed furnishings and linens, comfortable beds, lots of light and big windows, and very well-outfitted kitchen. Everything is of good quality and feels lovingly chosen. Negatives: The listing doesn't make it clear that there's another house sharing the property and driveway, and that the two are pretty close together. The deck/patio pictured seems to have been dismantled, and the one small deck on the upper floor faces the driveway and the other house, so there's really nowhere nice to sit outside. The stream at the end of the mowed walk is down a steep weedy slope so not something to hang out at. This probably doesn't matter to most people, but we were hoping to be far away from any neighbors and to spend time outside when the weather was nice. All that said, the surrounding roads are great for walking, and this is a comfortable and lovely place in a gorgeous part of the state.

Beautiful home, well-stocked.

This modern home was a delightful surprise. It is just as advertised in terms of rooms, beds, and the huge kitchen. We arrived the first time in the dark, and it was a bit tricky. It is so dark in rural Vermont, that we could see the Milky Way clearly overhead. This is a plus for sure, but finding the house was required careful attention to the mailbox numbers and Stacey's instructions. We got in using the number code in the mudroom after a couple of tries. The large king bed in great. The queen mattress is pretty worn down, but certainly useable. We didn't go up into the loft. The ladder would be fine for some younger people (or kids) but we didn't need the space. There is a large variety of pots and pans and a gas stove/oven. The table has leaves in the storage area, if you have more than 4 or 5 for dinner. There is a large angled couch that is great for reading or snuggling. There is no microwave or toaster, but there is a small toaster oven that works well. Make sure to follow the guidelines of recycling. Bins are on the mudroom porch. Also, we carefully filled her request - no shoes in the house. Bring some slippers The only negative is the Internet. The DSL is basically inoperative during waking hours. Our son came over and tested it, and confirmed that we were getting little or no signal. At times during the day, you can connect for short periods of time. We also had Verizon phones which do not function in this part of Vermont. If you are going to stay for any length of time, switch to AT&T. We were here for a month and it was tough to be out of touch that long. And no, Cabot does not have any internet cafes :-). In short, this beautiful home is just as advertised. It is incredibly quiet and clean. I highly recommend it, especially if you'd like to "unplug" from your electronics. Don't forget to check out the stars. This is a dark sky area, for sure. We were here for the peak of fall color and driving the backroads was a real treat.

beautiful house in great location

This is a beautiful house in a great location. Comfortable for me, my son and his wife, an 8 year old and a toddler. Beautiful views. Quiet. In a rural location but close to villages of Marshfield and Cabot and easy driver to Montpelier or St J. Easy self check-in.

Vermont Winter Wonderland

We booked Stacey's lovely home for school vacation week and were not disappointed! The location is perfect for a secluded getaway, rural, but not overly so; 25 minute drive to Montpelier for groceries but the local store had many of the amenities that we needed (including tasty pizza, beer and wine). The house itself is warm and inviting, the upstairs is perfect for watching the sunrise and the kitchen is very well equipped with all the cooking supplies two city chefs could need! My boys enjoyed the spacious home and loft and absolutely no issues with Wifi or cell service. Even with 8 inches of snow on our last day, the plows were early and dare I say did a better job than snow plowing in Boston! Stacey was quick to respond to our questions, we would very much consider booking this property again on a return trip to Vermont.

Beautiful country winter retreat

We loved the home and enjoyed the ride to and from Waterbury and St. Johnsbury. So quiet and peaceful to wake up to the snow, and the property had all the amenities you could ask for!

Great cabin in the middle of nowhere Vermont

My wife and i stayed here for our 10th anniversary. The place was very nice and could have accommodated far more people. It was in the middle of nowhere which is exactly what we wanted. My only complaints are that there was hardly any water pressure in the shower and the internet speeds were kind of slow. That's some nitpicking though because I'm sure that's consistent with most places in that part of the state. Otherwise we had a fantastic time!

Feels like home

My friends and I really enjoyed our time at this property for a snowboarding trip. Was a private home, beautiful inside and out, and was very comfortable. Highly recommend, will be going back to stay there in years to come.

We loved the property and location. It was remote but not too far from ski resorts. The home was really nice and well stocked with all we needed. Very much enjoyed our stay and hope to come back some time!

Wonderful Rural get away stay

The property was beautiful. Set up on a hill so you had a gorgeous view of the mountains out the front windows. Its in a very rural farm area. House was clean and comfortable. Anything you needed during your stay was there for use. Mattress was not the best ive ever slept on but it worked for the two nights we stayed there. Netflix to use while there. The location didnt have a lot going on around it as far as places to eat/things to do, so we had to drive a ways to tour around the area but it was a relaxing spot to unwind. Would recommend.
