"Brathay Lodge makes for a very comfortable and convenient stay in the Lake District. The room was modern and well-maintained and the staff friendly and considerate. There is a parking fee (unless booked direct) but you’d have to pay elsewhere anyway. If you have an electric car it’s a good idea to let them know in advance so you can use their reasonably-priced ProjectEV charger. The continental breakfast was fresh and varied and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay there again. "

"The Hideaway is located only a 5 minute walk from the village centre and a 20-30 minute walk down to the ferry and all the cafes, pubs and restaurants at Bowness. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. However, the most memorable feature was the breakfast which was the best we have ever had, the choice was excellent. To top it all there was a choice of home made cake everyday to take with you for your walk. I would definitely stay there again."

The shepherds huts are perfect everything you need for a relaxing break nice touch with the dressing gowns so we can get to and from hot tub. "Stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. We were met by John, the owner, who was very helpful in suggesting raxi firms to use. We were allocated a a room on the top floor which was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and all freshly cooked. Overall a very enjoyable stay."

"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

"This property was a great find. Lovely bungalow with amazing views. Two great sized bedrooms and additional sofa beds. Lovely balcony where we enjoyed having breakfast and even dinner on one evening overlooking the sea.
