"Our room was clean and pretty, but no coffee maker, no fridge, and no TV. The floor was so far off level we were literally walking downhill to the bathroom. No continental breakfast, and the desk clerk wasn't sure when the restaurant opened on Sunday morning. Beautiful place, but not our thing."

"We arrived on a Friday night. The parking lot was flooded due to severe area rains. The owners were working diligently to reduce the level of water. We were directed to park in the rear and had no issue doing so. I cannot and will not fault the owners. They were working very hard for those staying there.
I found the room clean and comfortable.
I know there have been derogatory comments about the continental breakfast. I saw plenty of options for food, however, there was a group of people...

"For a very old hotel, it was wonderful! The staff was fantastic and took care of things better than we would have expected. They were all very friendly. Our waitress Maggie, took good care of us and the manager Michael got us a drink even though the bar was about to close for the night. We would definitely stay at the Terrace Inn again."
