"After reading the reviews I was a little worried on booking, but I was like hey everyone has a different experience. The house was very clean! Our favorite view was from the backyard/sunroom. Nothing beats that beautiful view! The only thing bad that I have to say is if you like a little night pizza to snack on bring your own pizza cutter! But otherwise our stay was wonderful. The host communicated back with us in a timely manner. I would definitely stay at this location again. "

"Within a two hour radius of this property, you can visit many interesting and beautiful sites. The property description and pictures are spot on. It was cold while we were there and we feared that the school house would be drafty. No worries --- we were very comfortable inside and didn't notice the need for jackets until walking out the front door. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone."

"Great little waterfront cabin! We stayed for a long weekend of playing on the water. Access to the inland waterway is only 20 minutes away. Mackinaw only 10 minutes, and a good boat launch right next door. Rustic cabin charm was awesome. Reminded me of Canadian fishing trips with my dad."

"Great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone. Right on the lake and fairly secluded. Clean and everything seemed new. I only a couple minor concerns.1. Google maps takes you to the wrong sode of the road. This is not the owners fault but I think an issue woth google maps location.2. Llighting in the house was limited to eaither super bright or no lights. This is more of a personnel prfrnace, I like lights then can make a room dimmer in the evenings. "Great experience!! Perfect little cottage for our visit to Burt Lake for a family reunion. Our host was exceptional. Had an issue with the refrigerator upon arrival (10 PM). Called our host and he arrived in 10 minutes and fixed the problem. Very impressive, and most appreciated!! 5 Star experience!! Highly recommend this property and these hosts!! Well done!!"

"Overall was a perfect place to stay for our short stay. Lake is beautiful & peaceful, no noise & very little traffic. Tried to do some fishing, but lake is very weedy and didn't have any luck after trying many different spots on lake. The Roku was frustrating to use since we weren't familiar; wished we could have gotten local channels for the news/weather. But all that was all minor. We really enjoyed our home away from home."
