"We booked this room for Memorial Day weekend to have a small vacation with our grandchildren in Michigan. We were looking forward to using the restaurant and bar and the kids were excited to spend the day in the indoor pool. For some reason the hotel decided to close the restaurant, bar, and pool on Memorial Day. WHAT????? The holidays are when people visiting family rent hotel rooms. We were not notified of this when we booked. Also they had the water turned off for four hours one day. This...

"I had an issue with this hotel in the past where we asked for a late check-out to which we were granted, but the manager took it upon himself to then enter our room when I walked a load out... just as my wife was getting out of the shower. It was a whole big ordeal where I almost got the police involved and after this stay, I almost wish I had. It's been a few years since we've been to this location and it's under new management but I'll be damned if the same thing didn't happen this morning!...

"Perfect place for a base of operations for a girls weekend for the local Arts Festivals. Outstanding front desk employees, upbeat, friendly, just nice to always be greeted with enthusiasm. Basic clean room with kitchen. Enjoyed the full size refrigerator. No maid service, but knew that when I booked. Conveniently located to restaurants, highway & campus at MSU. Very budget friendly. "I cannot say is the worse place I haver been but it’s very noise, the beds are far from being good. Despite it has been renovated recently, the dark brown colors make the rooms quite unpleasant. An then, there is the problem of the take way breakfast. They gave some terrible food choices, everything in plastics which you take to your room. You do have a microwave in the room but…. There is no lift. If you have big suitcases and are assign to the second floor, you have to carry the baggage by...

"Check in took forever then we were assigned a room someone was already in .We had to go back down get another room after driving and being at the ball diamonds all day. Kids and adults were running up and down the halls yelling and slamming doors till 1:15am didn't get no sleep horrible experience."

"Super nice staff. I found this place after a paid booking was cancelled at another hotel. A little further out that I would like but it was worth it. I got to check out some local bars in Charlotte. A big shout out to Frank. He checked me in and the other staff was very friendly. If you want something clean, inexpensive and not a bad drive to MSU, check out this place."
