"We stayed in a seafront 2 bed cottage. The resort is small but beautiful. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The cottage itself was lovely. Very clean and with a great veranda with a view over the little beach and the marina. The kitchen and bathroom could do with a refresh but other than that it was perfect. The restaurant food was good and the staff were excellent. It opens at 11am through to 9 pm. The Meet and Meat shop was also excellent. Lovely fresh bread and pastries, meat, fish...

"Dave, Ayeesha, and Davidson were all wonderful. My wife and I absolutely love this cottage, and hope to visit again soon! The land the cottage is on alone, gives you an incredible experience with all the different vegetation and animals. Transportation to and from Lauriston Airport were included with our package. "We had a very pleasant stay at Almost paradise, starting with a wonderful meal cooked with love by Lucinda, our host. We were 3 and the sofa bed was made for the 3rd person and it was very comfortable. There was Mosquito nets but we didn’t felt it was needed. The villa was cozy with a nice balcony with a table and chairs and Hammock where we could enjoy the breeze. The outside shower was a cool feature. "There is no "almost" about it. We thought it was completely Paradise. Exactly the sort of place you want, coming to a tropical island from the cold of the North. The host bent over backward to ensure a pleasant stay and it seemed a much longer visit than the seven days we were there."
