"Wir waren begeistert und werden wiederkommen! Die Chatham Bay ist eine ca. 2km lange Bucht auf der windgeschützten Seite von Union Island. Die Anreise ist nur per Fähre und dann per Wassertaxi (ca. 20 min) möglich. Oder als Segler. Es gibt keine regelmäßigen Flüge nach Union Island. Die Bucht hat durchgehenden Sandstrand, der nach ca. 10m über eine kleinere Felskante in tieferes Wasser übergeht. Durch diese Felskante ist die gesamte Bucht ein Schnorchelparadies. "Dave was super helpful and friendly throughout our short (2 nights) stay. He picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry and stopped by the supermarket so we could pick up some supplies during our arrival. The place was clean and Dave's garden was very pretty (loved the turtle and the rabbits!) - it's clear he and his family have put a lot of work into the grounds. Dave was extremely knowledgeable about Carriacou and also recommended us a great snorkeling/island hopping tour (Froggy's Reef...

"Moira was a good communicator through WhatsApp. The sunsets were stunning and you could see the sail boats at Sandy Island. Mid day gets hot with no AC so we went to the beach and did exploring in the afternoons. Sleeping was comfortable enough under the ceiling fan."

"Situated in the hills about 20 minutes away from airport, Tyrell bay dock (ferry from Grenada) and Paradise beach. Quiet location, nicely maintained garden, overlooking the tropical vegetation around the house. Nice view from the balconies over to hills to the sea. We had the standard appartment. One room with kitchen, table and sofa and TV (better not to watch TV but to be on the terrace and enjoying the view and listening to the birds !!) Two bedrooms with baths. No AC, but ceiling fans....

"Hillsborough is a bit of a shanty town..all the action seems to be in Tyrell Bay now,but Jonas and his people do a great job in my view anyway. Light breakfast and good local menu at night including fresh seafood with a little Japanese local interpretation was very nice...no beach out the front...but I enjoyed my stay here..Thanks Jonas.. "
