Property is definitely off the beaten path which was a little hard to find after dark when we arrived. We did see deer eating apples from the tree each morning which was great. We also enjoyed using the fire pit one evening. Property is a decent location to Acadia and Bar Harbor if you don’t mind driving off the main road a bit. With a party of 3 couples wanting 3...

"The house is comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Vrbo has this house not far from Bar Harbor, but it is actually a bit over an hour drive. We didn't mind the drive, but you should at least be aware. The house is, however, not far from Schoodic and Winter Harbor, which also allows you to experience much of the same hikes, water sports, etc. as Bar Harbor. "
