"Unit 4 worked out very well for us. The location is great for visiting any part of Schoodic Peninsula, especially the national park, as well as venturing farther. The cabin was well taken care of and very clean. It was a comfortable place (e.g., nice beds, fan, mini-split, smart TV, big couch) and well equipped for cooking. "This is my third time staying here and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve stayed here twice during the summer and once during the fall. The rooms are super cozy. The room is always so clean and smells great. It’s close enough to downtown and Arcadia National Park. When in the room you can’t hear the traffic. Hanscom’s is definitely a diamond in the rough. I also have to say Isis who works at the property is always super nice and fast with responding if you email her. "

"This apartment was so beautiful and located next to a charming Main Street with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and cute shops. It was perfect for the 3 of us at the end of our trip. It’s pretty close to Acadia National Park without all the regular drama of the crowd in Bar Harbor."

"This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again."

"It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well."
