Comfortable Cottage at Scenic Lake

A quiet retreat close to nature, without being far from anything.
This guest cottage sits on a small private estate just outside Gothenburg. It is a standalone building with its own entrance and its own space – a comfortable place to stay, whether you are here for work, passing through, or simply want a few days by the water.

The Space
The cottage is laid out as a studio, making good use of the space. The kitchen has everything you need: stove and oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and good storage. The bathroom has a shower, washing machine and tumble dryer. Sleeping is in a loft with two single beds, and the living room has a sofa bed that sleeps two – so the cottage works well for up to four guests.
Step outside and there is a terrace with table and chairs, a nice spot for morning coffee or an unhurried breakfast.

The Lake
Down the lawn from the cottage, you will find a small beach and landing stage on the lake. Swim, fish, take the rowing boat out, or just sit at the lakeside terrace and watch the sun go down. There is also a sauna with a beautiful view over the water.
Parking is free and on-site.

The Location
Gothenburg city centre is around 20 minutes by car. The harbour, the archipelago, restaurants, markets and much more are all easily within reach when you want them. Landvetter Airport is about 15 minutes away – convenient if you are travelling, though it does mean you will occasionally hear aircraft. It is worth reading through previous guest reviews to get a feel for whether that might affect you.

The cottage is the guesthouse to a larger property on the same grounds. Your closest neighbours are a friendly older couple who are happy to help if needed, and equally happy to leave you in peace.
