"We had a great time at the red barn retreat. It’s close to many great restaurants and hikes. The host was very communicative and gave great recommendations. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The house was clean and check in was a breeze. "

"Can’t say enough good things! Don was communicative, the house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for everyone. The backyard was incredible and we had such a great time using the kayaks and relaxing under the gazebo. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with anything we could have needed. Absolutely recommend!! "

"Quaint off the main road staycation location that is just the right distance from most major areas. Owner was very timely in getting back to us about any questions we had with the house. People have mentioned the multiple extension cords and connecting wires and older setup; consider the location like a Catskill cabin but closer down the Hudson Valley with some modernized upgrades to fit the house size particularly in the kitchen. All necessary amenities were included: cooking supplies, basic...

"the place was so lovely and comfortable! the hosts were very kind when we had some trouble getting in at first (user error), and we had no troubles at all during our stay. The pool and hot tub are amazing, the house is so comfortable, and there is lots of hiking and other nature activities nearby. the sound of the creek is so soothing!"

"It was a perfect house and town for me and my 8 friends to stay. We all had room, were able to work remotely on Friday and we had perfect weather. My only note is that we had planned on using the grill one of the nights but only realized when we got there that it was not set up. We also had wanted to us the canoe but could not seem to find the oars. All in all it was an incredible weekend at a beautiful home and we will DEFINITLEY be back!"
