"This property truly exceeded our expectations. The grounds are huge and beautiful...you could spend hours just relaxing particularly in the swinging 'egg chairs'! Distance from Front Royal was just perfect at 10 to 15 minutes. The real surprise though was the size of the cottage. With a party of 4, including 2 older teenagers, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath can run a bit small. The common living space...living room and kitchen in particular...are very spacious. "We were looking for a quiet place to get away as a family and this property did not disappoint. It was a nice, clean and comfortable home. We enjoyed grilling, relaxing around the fire pit and on the porch, and going for walks around the property. It’s out in the country so there’s privacy and quiet but it’s also so close enough to town if you’re looking for things to do. Also close to Cacapon State Park! We would definitely go back. "
