"Just as advertised - actually the room is a bit nicer in person - it looks a bit sparse in photos. Very central location. We weren't there to watch TV, but first the TV was lagging, and then we were logged out of the YouTube TV. Emails were answered promptly but it was somewhat inconvenient. Also, the loud room fan runs continuously, separate from the AC/heat. I value quiet and it was somewhat irritating. These two things aren't enough to take a star off overall though. "

"This was our first time staying at Lydia Mountain Lodge. I chose this particular place due to convenient location (10 minutes from Skyline Drive) and unforgettable views! The room’s interior was decorated in a wooden authentic way. Furniture, lamps.. everything looked very cool. King size bed was a plus, even though the softness of the mattress was on the firmer side for me, but frankly this is very individual. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. "We had a wedding at a local winery and this was the perfect venue for our group. Had a great time. The host was incredibly accommodating and was flexible with check in so we could have time to get ready. Only thing is the ladies wished there was a full length mirror for getting ready. Otherwise no complaints. "

"SPACIOUS AND COZY There were 2 king size beds, 4 sets of bunk beds, and a very comfy extra large couch. LOCATION Beautiful area. Lots of horse and cows within eye sight of the house. Incredible starlight night sky. Check-in went smooth, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the place was clean. Lots of small touches that the host put into providing an amazing experience for us. "
