Ideally situated within the downtown core of Glenwood Springs, this newly renovated, welcoming Victorian with central AC is the perfect home base! Within steps of all the prime locations of Glenwood Springs including the hot springs pools, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, quaint shops, excellent restaurants, train station, Rio Grande Trail and the Roaring Fork and Colorado rivers, this location is unbeatable.

THE SPACE
In 1900 the town baker built this Victorian home near his downtown bakery, and now we invite you to enjoy your vacation at A Baker’s Victorian, within a half block from all that historical downtown Glenwood has to offer too.

Fully renovated from top to bottom, featuring 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms with marble and in-floor heating, this home can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. The main level showcases high ceilings and oversized windows that flood the living room and dining room with an abundance of natural light, creating a welcoming and bright atmosphere.

The newly remodeled, well-equipped kitchen, features brand new stainless steel appliances and opens up to a small deck with that can be used in the warmer months for grilling. Gather around the large dining table that seats 8, perfect for family game nights and meals together. End your day with a relaxing soak at the hot springs pools or indulge in a visit to an ice cream shop, all within walking distance.

Four comfortable bedrooms and two shared bathrooms are located on the upper level. The primary bedroom features a king bed, two bedrooms offer queen beds and the fourth is furnished with bunk beds, perfect for kids! There is a full bathroom and a half bathroom, both with heated floors and marble tiles. The half bathroom also serves as the laundry room.


Whether you prefer outdoor adventures or leisurely strolls through our picturesque town, this comfortable home provides easy access to all that town has to offer.

The bunk bed mattresses were replaced with 6` memory foam mattresses, comfortable for adults and children- June 2024

THIS IS A NON SMOKING PROPERTY. The use of tobacco, cannabis or vapor devices is strictly prohibited. Disregarding this Rule may result in a fine.

Travel Protection: We HIGHLY recommend purchasing our trip cancellation insurance as there are NO REFUNDS if canceled within 7 days of arrival, regardless of the reason (including illness, flight delays, weather, road conditions, etc.). Protect your vacation with RentalGuardian in case of cancellations, emergencies, and more. Specifics will be provided in your confirmation email so you can get started and travel with peace of mind.

2-3 parking spaces are available in alley behind home.

Waivo™ Security Deposit Waiver

If You have purchased a Waivo™ Security Deposit Waiver, then the following terms and conditions are now part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.

I. AGREEMENT

A. On behalf of KEYLINK LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.

B. Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.

C. This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.

II.EXCLUSIONS

A. This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:

Acts of God
Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear
Theft without a valid police report if over $250
Loss of use of the vacation rental property
Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal
Damage to a motorized vehicle
Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items
This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.
This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.

III. CONDITIONS

A. Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.

B. Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.

C. This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.

D. This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.

E. This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.

F. Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.

G. If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

IV. DEFINITIONS

You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

SHORT TERM RENTAL GUEST AGREEMENT

Thank you for booking your vacation rental through Keylink, LLC vacation rental management. This Short Term Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into between and among the below named Parties, effective the Effective Date. For and in consideration of the promises, agreements, and other good and valuable consideration exchanged herein, the receipt and sufficiency of which are acknowledged, the Parties agree as stated herein.

Effective Date: The date the Guest submits its reservation online.

Homeowner: The record title owner of the Premises.

Overall a wonderful stay. Clean home, walking distance to many of the better restaurants in town. Well stocked kitchen and nice new washer and dryer upstairs. Never lacking hot water and fast strong WiFi. The bedrooms are smaller but fit our needs well. Only suggestion might to be to offer more blankets in living room.

All was great with this rental! The communications were timely and helpful. The house is in a great location being 1/2 a block from downtown. We have stayed in a number of VRBO properties in Glenwood Springs and the parking for 2-3 vehicles was the best - so convenient. The house was clean, updated, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place for 3 to 8 people.

Perfect location and really set up well in terms of mixed families staying in the house. Bedrooms were large and mattresses were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms. Walking distance to the pool, adventure park, doc holiday’s grave and pretty much everything else.

Checking in to the house looking like it was abandoned mid cleaning and worried someone was hurt in the unlocked basement was a terrible way to start our stay. We were delayed several hours from unpacking our cars and did not get to enjoy the hot springs that night. Great location and beautiful house but I will not stay again.

This house was great and worked perfectly for our needs. My nephew was getting married at the Colorado Hotel and this was perfect walking distance to the venue. You could not ask for a better location as the house is just off the main strip! Walking distance to the hot springs and plenty of restaurant options! Check in was easy and the house was clean and worked as advertised!Thank you!

All very good. Within walking distance of downtown. Bunk beds are for children - had to get on my hands and knees to get into bed. Adjustments to the air conditioning we never could figure out. Could have been cooler. 3 car parking area? we needed smaller cars.

Baker's Victorian the Perfect Location and Stay!

This remodeled victorian home just moments from the shops and restaurants of historic downtown Glenwood Springs was the perfect vacation home for our family. The home was adorable, comfortable and felt peaceful even though it's literally a block from the busy part of town. Check in and out were a breeze, kids all had their own room, and the family dog was even able to join us. Perfect home, perfect stay. Will be back for sure!

Great get away close to all popular locations!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It’s so convenient since everything is just a short walk away—no need to drive anywhere. The place is really clean and cozy, making us feel right at home. The only small thing was the late check-in time at 4pm. We drove in from 3-4 hours away, with our cars packed full of food that unfortunately didn’t all survive the 10-hour wait from 6am-4pm, but once we could check in, it was all smooth sailing.

Perfect Home and Conveniently Located

Highly recommend! We were so pleased with everything about this VRBO.The home is lovely, extremely clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for our week long stay in Glenwood Springs. We especially appreciated the washer and dryer, dishwasher and having three restrooms. It is an extremely close walking distance to all of the downtown restaurants, the Hot Springs Pool and free RFTA bus service stops. We did not need to rent a car. We loved this comfortable home, enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Great stay for families

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully redone home! I traveled with my family (6 adults, a toddler, and a newborn), and the space was perfect for all of us. The house was spotless and thoughtfully updated—especially the bathrooms, which were absolutely gorgeous. The location couldn’t have been better—we were able to walk everywhere, from dinner and ice cream to brunch spots. It made our trip so convenient and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place and would love to return!

Walkable Glenwood

Historic renovation was welcoming and cleverly built out to support our group’s stay. Timely communication and clear instructions helped us enjoy a delightful mountain experience. How fun to walk a full block to the main drag - with plenty of variety - we are grateful to have found such a good fit!
