"This was my first time staying at a ranch and it was great! The skies were clear and they had a small telescope that I was able to use and point towards the moon and see the craters on the moon! Overall, it was great!"

"Little slice of serenity! Perfect location with lovely views and peace. Fantastic place to unplug with your mate and your fur baby. Great hikes and waterfalls within a small distance of driving. There is a winery within walking distance that we didnt have time to visit but looked fun. Very thoughtful touches in the Studio and amazing communication with our host! We will hopefully be back!"

"Beautiful townhome located close to downtown Hood River with gorgeous views of Mount Adams and the Columbia River. Check-in and out process is easy and we had no problems. 3 good sized bedrooms with 2 1/2 baths was great for 6 adults to share. Kitchen is stocked with just about any appliance/kitchen tool one would need. We used the smoker/grill one night to make delicious burgers and brats-we are from Wisconsin! James was easy to contact. He checked in to make sure we were doing well and was...

"We stayed at Hawks Perch for 6 nights. Check in was easy, the unit was clean and well stocked. We easily walked to several restaurants and shops, and truly enjoyed the view of wind surfers on the River. We had an excellent stay. "

"O.M.G… the view of Mt Hood was phenomenal from our rental!! The space was modern & beautiful. I wish we’d had time to spend at least one additional night. Highly recommend this space. Pay attention to the texts from the host. She knows her stuff! "

"Our stay at this property was really nice! We didn't spend much time at the place because we were in town for a family wedding, and there were a lot of activities. We loved how you could walk to town for breakfast or dinner. Everything we needed was included in the stay - towels, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, etc. It's the details that matter!"
