"Very quite and clean. "

"It was cozy and cute. They allowed us to check in early and they were very accommodating. It was a short walk to the beach and the weather was beautiful. The fire pit was a nice touch as we were excited about making s'mores. This was one for the books. Definitely go back! "

"Exactly as described in the listing. Beds were super comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well. Quiet location. Check-in was easy. Owner was super responsive. It is an up north cabin with great location and amenities. "

"Great property and close to Tawas for shopping and Lake Huron. Beautiful sunsets. Loved having a washer and dryer. We were a little disappointed that the Sand Lake access wasn’t closer but it all worked out. We drove to Lake Huron and swam in the Great Lake. "

"We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...

"A great little cottage, steps from the beach! The owner was a fabulous host, very communicative and helpful. Lots of little extras included such as linens, towels, spices, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, everything you need. A/C worked great, ceiling fans throughout, nice little deck. We were very comfortable and had a great vacation! ! "

"We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head...

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood and just two blocks from the main downtown area, this cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were quick to respond to messages prior to our arrival. No issues. Definitely would stay here again!"

"If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Everything was wonderful. Clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. They even had kayaks on site and sand toys for the kids. The Weber grill was perfect for grilling out every night. The swing set meant the kids were always entertained. The hosts were so responsive from start to finish. Access to Oscoda for groceries was quick and easy. Beach was private, not crowded, clean and overall just lovely every day. Cannot wait to return! "

"Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. They supplied some wood for a campfire which was nice and each cabin has their own firepit. The lake is beautiful and we could launch our kayaks from the edge beyond the seawall,...

"This cottage has just what you need in a spot that has everything you need. On the river, near the lake but walking distance to stores, restaurants and ice cream. Jerry and Jen are so welcoming and accommodating. Cottage was clean and well taken care of. "
