"The timber house is beautiful! Our favorite thing to do each morning and evening was to sit on the porch and watch the animals. The host, Debbi, was so kind. We truly enjoyed visiting the animals and learning all about them from Debbi. The general store was amazing as well with something for everyone. We will definitely be back for another visit! We miss all of the animals already!"

"Enjoyed staying in this brand new home on a ridge overlooking Lake James. The home was spacious and modern, but also warm and inviting to sit and look out the big windows while gathered for a meal. A bonus was the private dock which provided nice access to Lake James. Everyone has a nice space to spread out, but also a great place for family and friends to spend time together."

"Our stay was great. The property was just as advertised. I would say a little more hilly than I was expecting but nothing unusual for the area. The rooms were large and roomy and the beds and bedding comfortable. Certainly more than enough room for me, three of my adult kids and their significant others.
