"The city itself is a jewel. But the Swan is stuck in the past century, the furniture is old - not classy, the bathroom doesn't support hot baths or the fire alarm will go off. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The stair are beautiful, but the maze beyond it to get to the rooms are a trouble for baggage carriers."

"We booked this very last minute and got the last room! It was advertised as small and delivered. Beggars cant be choosers but it was clean and comfortable. The car park is small so unless you're there early its one of the many privately owned car parks in the town and harbour. Beware of the time limits and restrictions. Hotel has a lovely outside seating area in the late afternoon sunshine. Didn't have diner at the hotel but breakfast was buffet style with an excellent choice for all the fussy...
