"Easy walk to downtown and hiking trail. Hosts were very responsive when needed. Lots of wineries and beautiful beer garden. Also some very good restaurants. Countryside around Elkin is beautiful. Omegia and Jeff are very friendly hosts and care about their guests. "

"The cabin was very comfortable. We needed a weekend away and this was the perfect place. We brought our 6# chihuahua, Princess, along with us. She is usually a little nervous, but she adjusted instantly. The view is beautiful and welcoming. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone needing a quiet get away."

"The inside of the cabin is beautiful! Some of the pictures makes you believe you have access to the lake. You do not! It is owned by a camp ground and they have no choice words to make sure you know it and stay away. Keys are in a lock box but my communication said they would be under a mat. Never was communicated the code to the lock box until the owners mother happen to drive by. She seemed more surprised than I did that I hadn't been told. They claim the wifi operates without a password but...
