The SeaClusion location to Georgetown, Exuma Grocery market, liquor stores, Straw Market and small boutiques is great. We met the host during our stay and he was very friendly. The house layout is great for lots of guests and we had 10 adults and 1 toddler. The view is very pretty and pool size great. Overall it worked for us. Cons: it does need a good deep cleaning, and furniture cleaned. A combo Keurig pod/coffee pot machine would be nice, add a hand mixer and a vacuum cleaner that worked would help keep the floors clean during our stay. The master bathtub set up was about to fall apart, couldn’t use or figure out how to turn the water on. Pool heater wasn’t working. Watching tv, not easy to figure out and you have to have your own streaming accts to use it, not very user friendly. Water temperature in showers would change from cold, hot cold without notice on you so watch out! We had a handicapped person with us and going down to the beach well we didn’t. Stairs too steep and no handrails. Nor no handrails for pool steps. Not much beach in front nor are you able to walk the beach like we hoped. When we arrived most of the safes were messed up and the host had to come fix, he also told us the heater on the pool wasn’t working. My husband has ALS (they tend to be cold all the time) and was looking forward to the warm pool during our stay we did an afternoon excursion on Friday. Host asked to install new washer/dryer during that time. Beds/pillows average.

I love the location, the beach, and pool at this house. It had beautiful decor and comfortable bedding. This is one of the newer homes on Exuma. I have stayed at several and this one was my favorite so far. Great for large families and all the spaces are very accommodating for many guests.

Palmetto Bay Resort exceeded all expectations during our stay in Exuma. The beachfront location is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear turquoise waters and pristine white sand right at your doorstep. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The location is ideal for exploring the famous swimming pigs at Big Major Cay and other incredible attractions Exuma has to offer. Whether you’re looking for adventure or pure relaxation, Palmetto Bay Resort delivers an authentic Bahamian experience. We can’t wait to return!

Very spacious for large groups.. perfect location- very close to fun restaurants/ bars/ airport. Pool beach deck amazing… beach deck with lounge chairs and beach chairs made big difference for many hang at beach on the deck…views from inside house to beach amazing - can see ocean for miles as soon as you step in house…master bedroom had closet full of beach necessities which we used - 6 folding beach chairs, all age life jackets, beach balls, gsmes , rafts…highly recommend

Amazing property. Exactly as it looks. Ayana was very helpful and responsible. Chef Joe was great and we had him come 2 nights. Water and beach absolutely stunning!

Family getaway

A dreamy setting with tranquil crystal clear water, lovely sandy beach that felt like walking on cake mix, perfect pool, and gracious home with ample spaces for lounging, dining, sleeping and pampering. Town and provisioning was convenient, airport close by, host and concierge very responsive. Perfect getaway for our family!

Family Vaycay

This was the perfect family vacation! Our last family vacation was to Disney World but we all liked this much more than Disney, even the kids! The house was amazing! We had a private beach and pool. The location was perfect! Centrally located on the island of GeorgeTown Exuma. We were assisted by an amazing concierge that helped make everything perfect! We definitely hope to be able to go back one day!

Beautiful Clean Home in Central Great Exuma

This home, Seaclusion, sits with two other properties, Seabatical and Seastheday in Palmetto Bay Resort. Exuma is a true paradise - low key with friendly locals and always feels safe. Ayana (prop mgr) picked up groceries for us before we arrived and met us at the airport for the short 10 minutes drive to the house. We got a speedy tour and then she was out the door. House is new and clean. Linens were nice, beds were comfortable, AC and WiFi were no problem during our stay. The beach is completely dependent on the tide and wind. It was extremely windy for most of our trip so even at low tide, the surf washed completely over the beach and hit the rocks in front of the house. The dock is a nice place to sit and enjoy the water and you can walk down on the rocks if you have shoes on. Stay in the most Southern (right) house in Palmetto Bay to have the best chance of a beach during your stay. No complaints about stay. However, four days after checkout, I received a message that we had damaged the two kayaks and caused a splatter stain in the master bath. Multiple adults walked through the house before leaving. There was NO stain when we left the house. One of the kayaks had a hole/dent that my husband noted. I did not report it to PM because kayaking was not a part of our plans in Exuma. Alleged damage charged to my credit card. Hoping VRBO damage insurance will cover. **Inspect, take pictures and videos of all damage found and video your final walkthrough.**

Fabulous Home on the Most Beautiful water in the World

My wife & family have been coming to the Exumas for the last 37 years. We discovered the Exumas when we had an 80ft Motor Yacht, and have been coming back ever since. The Homes suit our 4 small grand children, better that the boat. Makes the "Moms" more relaxed, than worrying about the kids falling off the boat. The 3 brand New Homes on this beach are some of the Best we have seen. Seaclusion, Seas the Day, and Seabatical, are all very close to the same layout. The Homes are Well equipped. Everything is New, clean and Very well kept. Close to airport, 10 min from Grocery Store, liquor store, Restaurants are 15 min. In home Chef available, Grill, Top line appliances, Every thing "works". Management company and Concierge, easily available, if needed. Fabulous "Retractable" Screened in Porches, with Great circular couches. Fabulous Views ! Short boat Ride from Chat & Chill, Peace & Plenty, Johnny's Beach Bar, etc, etc, Getting a local Captain to run you around and show you the sights is the way to go. Lots of Shallow water when the tide is out. Local knowledge is really helpful. Plus they can take you places you would never find on your own. Again, all 3 Homes, rank with the BEST homes we have rented. Try it Once, You Will be back.! Shelley and I will, SOON ! Tom O.

Friends Getaway

I would like to start by saying how easy it was to work with Ralph and Anaya...super easy! The house was amazingly beautiful. There were 8 on this trip and we had plenty of room and never felt crowded, even in the kitchen with people cooking or cleaning up as we went. The house is close to the airport and kind of in the middle of the island (once we learned our way around). The master suite and secondary master suite are big with great views but we were just has happy in our king room off the kitchen. Beach towels are available in each of the 5 rooms so you won't need to bring them from home. There are pool floaties available which was nice. The views are just stunning...sunrise and sunset with the waves crashing against the rocks. Yes, there are rocks and not a beach. This was the only negative I could find and I think the whole group agreed. It made for wonderful pictures but not so wonderful getting down to the water. There was an area where it was easier to get down to the water and a small area for a few chairs but not a beach. The beach picture shown is a little deceptive and a little disappointing. You can walk along the shore to a more "beachy" area but watch the rocks in the water...definitely toe stubbers. This may or may not be important to you or your group but if you have mobility issues or just not sure on your feet, just take note. Other than that, we loved the house, the pool and the property!

Some of the other reviews are spot on. The beach is not there during high tide, so don't plan on using a really big beach, but the wind being up high and the pool are great. Not as many amenities at the house (knives, wine glasses, cook wear, cooking utensils). For a place that nice ( it really is nice) they should have rocks glasses, plenty of wine glasses, cooking knives, etc... ice maker is not amazing.

I really enjoyed this property

I’ve been to Exuma 30+ times…. Stayed in a couple resorts and a lot of house. Our whole fam really enjoyed this house. There were 9 of us and it was plenty of room. A few have mentioned the fact that there’s no beach at high tide, I was a bit nervous about that, but it ended up not being an issue at all! We still enjoyed the water and the views really are wonderful. Check in and check out was a breeze. And the house was CLEAN which is a huge deal to me. A few internet issues, but they were addressed right away… I mean, it’s an island, small issues are to be expected. Overall I highly recommend!

Perfect slice of paradise!

After many trips to Exuma, we discovered Seaclusion and WOW, we LOVED the house and our stay there! From the booking, to corresponding with Anaya prior to our arrival, to the cleanliness and comfort of the house, the amenities, etc., we didn't have one complaint. The kitchen is equipped with tons of pots, pans, blenders, etc. and so if you want to cook, you should have what you need. The beds and pillows are super comfortable! The house had beach towels for each guest in our party and also had a closet with beach chairs, one beach umbrella, pool floats, toys, etc. and so we enjoyed borrowing those items during our stay. We had guests in our party ranging from 1 to 73 years and there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There are screens that come down and so you can sit outside without being bitten by mosquitos. The pool was a huge plus after days out at the beach! There are two kayaks and some of our guests enjoyed using these each morning. The only things that I would point out to some as it may be worth knowing: 1) There is a beach behind the house but the sand part of the beach can only be accessed during low tide. During high tide, the sand is covered. However, we like to hit different beaches in Exuma during our stay and so this was not an issue for us. 2) There is only one TV in the house. It was fine for us, but some may like more. All in all, we LOVED our stay and look forward to a future stay!
