Beautiful Beachfront Villa Located 15 Mins Walk To The Town

Villa Mare is a beautiful 3 bedroom, two and a half beachfront villa located in February Point's gated community.

The community offers two tennis courts, a Beach club with an inifinity pool and a spa.

Villa Mare is equipped with a refrigerator,microwave, a dishwasher, and a dining area seating for six. There are also 3 countertop stools. A separate laundry room contains a stackable washer/dryer and utility sink.

There are 2 bedrooms with Queen beds with oceanviews and a 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds.

This Villa was recently renovated in November 2019 and we are always working to provide you with a breathtaking experience.

The location on the island was perfect and very convenient to town. The community felt safe and everyone we encountered was very welcoming. Views were incredible from the Villa and we enjoyed the convenience of the pool. The A/C in most rooms worked well and the snorkel and kayaks were very convenient. Rusty Anchor had wonderful food and service and stayed open during power outages. Some of the items that were less than ideal: the linens and towels were very worn and grungy, there were not enough dishes or glassware (we had to manually wash dishes every day for the 4 of us), the ceiling fan in the second queen room did not work and the A/C was less effective in that room. Tree work was being completed the entire day on Thursday, making the pool unavailable and the beach was rockier than anticipated. The TV in the living room was tiny, which made it very difficult to watch anything at night as a family. But the biggest issue was that the water pressure in the bathrooms was HORRIBLE!!! The pressure did not change during the day/evening - it was literally a trickle and made the beautiful primary shower a complete waste.

First time to Exuma

We had an incredible time in Exuma for Spring break. Weā€™ve never stayed so close to the water before. Loved the convenience of the Beach Club (loved the Rusty Anchor) as well as the next door Infiniti pool.

Great location on the water

The house is on a calm and quiet harbor, next to a community swimming pool. A short walk away is a much larger swimming pool, still inside February Point, on a different stretch of beach, next to a nice restaurant. It only takes a few minutes to drive into Georgetown. All in all, it was a great location and stay. The host was also very helpful when we needed to stay an extra night because of a canceled flight. we would recommend, however, window coverings on the bathroom windows.

Villa Mare review March 2025

Property and location are great. House was clean but needs some loving care. Kitchen stocked with cookware but needs dishes, utensils and glassware. Mostly plastic cups from beach bar. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck at night with cocktails/wine but hated drinking out of plastic glasses. There is no safe for valuables when you go out. Only 2 curtain panels in bedrooms upstairs when they need 4 to fully cover. There is a window in 2nd shower with no way to cover it so showering was a little uncomfortable. Felt could have provided more towels but there is a washer and dryer. Would have been a nice addition if they had beach chairs for you to use. Snorkeling gear was provided but we did not use. The beach front was a big plus and we did spend our last day sitting there. Everyone we met in the area was great. House has a feeling that the owner had not been there in a while. No complaints about the host as she was very responsive. For the price of our stay here, expected a little more luxury.

Bliss on the Cove

We had an awesome time at this house. Thereā€™s a small beach right out front for morning/evening swims! Sea turtles greeted us every morning and the Kayaks were fun. Pool and restaurant at the Rusty Anchor are GREAT! I wouldnā€™t recommend walking to town and you definitely need a car to get around the cool beaches and water sports spots around the island!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, great for families. We stayed with a 7&5 year old. Pool was perfect for them, swam in the sea outside the house. Rooms all big and the kitchen was big. Perfect stay Staff were great at February Point as well. Would stay again

Great Location

There were four of us that stayed at this property. The home was beautiful, clean and stocked with everything we could need. Plenty of toilet paper, stocked kitchen, beach towels (I think there were six), dishwasher soap, coffee filters. Communication with the property manager was easy. They were fast to respond and even checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. LOCATION! This place is perfect! It was super easy to get into town to hit the grocery and the Yacht Club. Getting to Little Exuma from here was a breeze as well. I feel like February Point is very centrally located. We had an incredible stay and would highly recommend this property!

Perfect Location

The home is beautiful and the views are way better than the pictures if thatā€™s even possible. The location was better than anything else we saw while on the island. Itā€™s close to town in a gated neighborhood and the Rusty Anchor restaurant is just steps away. ( Best food we had during our stay). The home had everything we needed from beach towels to snorkel gear and was very clean and well kept. The host was always quick to respond and we will definitely be coming back. Would never stay at any other property. We drove from one end of the island to the other and did not find anything That we thought would have been better. For first time visitorsā€¦.make sure to rent a car. Although town is a short walk, the best beaches and things to see were all amazing but not walking distance. And although just about everyone accepts Mastercard and Visa, youā€™ll need to keep a little cash on you for tipping the water taxi or boat captains if you decide to enjoy those activities.

We loved out stay at Villa Mare. We felt very safe with the gated entrance and the staff was so friendly. The home was full equipped with everything we needed. The AC was ice cold and we loved the use of the grill. This home is centrally located near everything. Highly recommend!!

50th Birthday trip

This place is perfectly located. 25min drive in either direction to either end of the island. The house is very roomy as we had 6 adults. The kitchen is nice size. Not overlly stocked with utensils but it has the essentials. The dining room table is huge which was good for us to spread out our daily treasures and eat and have great conversations. The pool right next door was basically our personal pool. The Rusty Anchor was probabaly the best place we ate at...twice. We appreciated the security of the community. We would stay here again. Thank you for helping us enjoy our first and definitely not our last girls trip to Exuma.

First Time in Exuma

February Point was the perfect location for our family. Itā€™s a gated community, close to town, had a beautiful beach club with a pool overlooking the spectacular turquoise water. It also has a spa, hot tub, restaurant and marina within the community. Villa Mare is a beautiful home right on the beach and next to a community pool. My only criticism is that the appliances need updating and some of the dishes are chipped We didnā€™t use the dishwasher, although we were told by the property manager that it worked, but the racks had rust on them which we felt was a hazard. The washerā€™s spin cycle wasnā€™t working properly (had to run through a couple times to get the water out) and the dryer just stopped working. Unfortunately the dryer couldnā€™t be repaired during our stay because the part had to come from the US. We enjoyed using the kayaks. In case anyone is looking for the beach towels, they are located in the entrance cabinet. We didnā€™t know they were there until the last day, luckily we brought our own. Exuma is a beautiful island with kind people. We will be back!

A month in paradise

Villa Mare was perfect for our month of winter vacation in Exuma. The location was perfect & the view absolutely amazing. Everything was clean and operational. Sasha was quick to respond prior to our stay as well as once on island. February Point is a great neighborhood with amenities & friendly people.

We had a fantastic week over Christmas 2023. The house is spectacular and perfect for a family of 5. Private beach and a great location. This house is very clean and has tons of toys, like kayaks. I highly recommend this house.

We enjoyed our stay even though...

We had our ups and downs, but overall we had a nice stay. -We didn't arrive until late afternoon; the sun already set. It was very tough to find the Feb Pointe - google maps isn't completely friendly in the directions (go PAST the ballfields). Then the house lights were not turned on, so we couldn't see the house or the number. But once we found it, it was easy to get in. -Although it looked clean, the upstairs had a terrible smell (I referred to it as cat urine). We can only conclude it was a cleaner or some sort of spray they used. The property manager sent over glade plug ins. -We had ZERO water pressure in the showers or hot water. A crew came over the next day to replace the hot water tank and give us as much water pressure as possible - it wasn't much but it at least worked. -The outside cushions and water toys/gear were in a dirty mess piled up outside. We cleaned up as much as possible and pieced together the water toys (only had 2 complete sets of snorkels). We didn't touch the cushions since they were muddy and a bunch of cockroaches scrambled out when we moved them. -The bbq pit wasn't clean so that was frustrating. -The bed frame in one of the bedrooms broke. The property manager sent someone the next day to fix. Although we had these issues, the property manager attended to each thing right away. And we understood the house is older, so problems may occur. The view and location certainly trumped the issues and we had a nice time.

First timer to Exuma

Very well appointed house, larger than i expected given 3 bedrooms. While exuma felt very safe the neighborhood felt particularly so, and this was important since were were traveling with kids. Beautiful views from bedrooms. Kayaks were a big plus. One suggestion would be to include a couple of portable beach chairs which would have been very handy given there are quite a few beautiful beaches on the island to visit. Overall an excellent house and very happy with our stay.

February Point House on a Quiet Exuma Bay

Villa Mare was an excellent rental for our family of five. With 3 kids (ages 8, 9, and 12), the size of the house and location was ideal for our first trip to Great Exuma. Snorkeling in the backyard, we saw turtles. The kids used the pool adjacent to the house. We ate at The Rusty Anchor on more than one occasion. It was a 3 minute drive to George Town for groceries. The gated community gave privacy and ensured security, though the island is safe. The central location made exploring the many beautiful beaches on both Great and Little Exuma simple. This has been one of our familyā€™s best relaxing vacations! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Tranquil house

This villa is located in upscale community near George Town. We enjoyed the pools and the restaurant on the property. House was very comfortable and updated. There were snorkeling gear and kayaks for out use. The big plus was the water cooler provided by the owner, we didnā€™t need to worry about buying drink water. We will definitely like to come back to this villa.
