Prefect for couples or small families on a budget!! sleeps up to 4

You'll enjoy this studio condo that is located in the most beautiful setting. It's very peaceful on top of the mountain. The condo has a kitchen, electric fireplace, balcony and queen size bed tucked in the Window. The condo also has a sleeper sofa for the little ones. Your drive up the mountain has the most wonderful mountain views and the entire complex gives you that true mountain feel, yet only 3 miles up from downtown Gatlinburg and about 8 miles from Dollywood and Pigeon Forge.
The complex is small, but offers a summertime pool, two year round hot tubs, sauna and game room.

Great view.. especially of Ober mountain and zip lining. Love this place.. the host was very helpful and kind when we requested to extend our stay due to the chaos to enjoy activities because of the new year. Would recommend especially for couples or small families.

Had a wonderful stay! Didn’t realize how far up we was but after first couple trips up we was good. Had small issue when we first got there but contacted host responded quickly and fixed the issue right away. Definitely recommend this place. Oh and saw a bear on the road up how exciting

Great value for price. Large enough for 4 people, full kitchen to cook food, quiet neighbors, blankets and towels included. The 2 hot tubs were clean and comfortable.Checkin and checkout were super easyOur host Jennifer responded to texts within minutes and was polite and informational.The drive up and down the mountain to gatlinburg is pretty fun with winding steep mountainside roads through the National Park with good views on the way. Pretty clean and good experience overall, My only complaint would be the stove was small so it took some time to get a pan hot enough to cook on, but we made it work.

This is our second time staying here. We have been very satisfied. When communicating with the manager, she responded quickly. This unit is very cozy for my husband and I. We are close to the entrance of the park as well as to Gatlinburg. It is very quiet. On both of our trips we have seen many bear on the drive to and from our unit.

Gatlinburg trip

It was lovely and the room was clean and easy to get into the condo. The only drawback was the drive to get to the High Chalet. It was a little scary but eased up on the 3rd day. I really enjoyed the hot tub! Also, I was impressed by the quiet.

Great times

The Chalet was great! My daughter and I stayed over the weekend and found the room very accommodating! Only thing I wish was different was that the fireplace had worked. Otherwise, clean, easy to get to and quiet area. We would def stay here again!

Thanksgiving getaway

Overall, it was a cozy condo! We loved the bear decor. A nice fragrance in the room. The fireplace set a nice ambience; however it did not put out any heat. The sofa bed was not very comfortable for my daughters. A foam mattress would help out tremendously. Another disappointment was the 2 community hot tubs. They did not get above 93 degrees which is less than my body temperature. In 30-degree weather with 25mph winds you need a hot tub! These were lukewarm tubs. The hot tubs were a huge seller for me as to why I chose this condo. For future guests, please follow the directions that the owner provides. Our GPS did not recognize the address at first and we drove around the steep mountain which was stressful. I should have paid more attention to the VRBO email. Also, I would recommend locating the condo during the day, rather than night due to ground erosion around the roads. An AWD vehicle is a must but driving in D1 down the mountain I did not think was necessary. Even though it was very crowded everywhere, we had a wonderful getaway!

It was a great spot to enjoy and explore Gatlinburg. A little tricky to figure out how to enter with the lock, but once we did, we had no other issues. Overall, very satisfied!

Talk about disgusting!!!!

When we arrived at the property later than the check in time mind you the room was left a complete and utter mess dirty towels everywhere the sink had food in it the floors was a mess and dont get me started on the bathroom also the bed was completely disgusting it looked brown and broken we wouldnt of even seen it if the bed was made proberly. After we seen the horrendous mess of the room we tried to contact the owner she would not answer her phone it took approximately half an hour to get into contact we then had to leave so that the house keeper could come and clean the room she was 45 minutes away so that put us at 3 hour’s of not being to get into the room once we arrived and the “cleaning” job that she had done was half fast and she had even left dirty rags laying after she had left. The trip we had was memorable but not because of the room Also the view from the room was just trees so dont get excited.

Absolutely Perfect!

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost a decade and never been on a trip together! This was absolutely the most perfect little apartment! It was so incredibly clean and cozy and the a/c was on for us when we got there. My little old fiat made it up the drive and we saw a few bears on the way! Definitely perfect for two people, may be cramped with more, but we were just fine! We had absolutely no issues at all and had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for an affordable trip with some unforgettable memories! <3

Amazing Stay

If you’re planning a trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg this is the place to stay. I’ve stayed in many cabins/hotels/condos in the area and this by far was the best. Clean and decorated so beautifully. I felt so at home and the personal touches made it even better. Very quiet and peaceful. I will definitely stay again. Everything that was provided such as the pots and pans, utensils, dinnerware, and towels, were a great addition. Hot tub was a great addition as well. Thanks for an amazing stay!!

It was ok I guess

So forst ill say the view shown was not what the view was from our efficiancy condo. it was not very clean, the bthroom rugs were wet and very dirty upon arival. the hot tubs barely worked. the front door only latches shut if you lock it. its a cute co do but the set up with the bed is not ideal. very hars to sleep 2 there and the couch bed is too uncomfortable to sleep on. So we had to sleep at the foot of the bed as we needed a spot for his c pap a d i get up alot i the night so he didnt want me clibing over him. theu onkybsupplyb1 roll of toilet paper no bar soap or toiletries other then shampoo. They should let you know the condo is up a very steep winding road to the top of the mountain. scary drive as the road is very narrow and cant see when tur ing a curve. would have been nice to know especially for people with fear of hieghts and bad anxiety. its gorgeous going up just scary. they expect u to clean do dishes and all even though we pay a owner service fee o top of the listing fee through vrbo. they also had the audacity to leave a tip envalope after asking me to ha e the place cleaned before I leave except linens. im sorry, no. I did tak the trash out and didnt leave any messes but regardless the listing isnt what it is. I ha e stayed with many vrbos and never had a bad experiance till now. for me it wasntnworth what I paid but the pics did show the right room just didnt say it was an old bed and slightly cleaned.
