The location is great, in terms of proximity to Damariscotta and environs, but one also feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of summer tourists. The kayaks were fun, as was looking for animals in the water at low tide. A true haven of a rental that was much appreciated!"

"Well appointed and comfortable cabin. Loved the retro fridge and microwave and sitting on the deck with a morning coffee. We awoke to a woodsy view every morning. The location was perfect for us; convenient to Wiscasset, Damariscotta and Pemaquid Point. Our host was fabulous with his timely communication and down east hospitality. If we pass through this way again, we will be sure to stay here again."

"Great spot on the pond! Wonderful place for couple or one person to stay. The dogs loved the fenced in yard and so did we. Home had everything we needed to make meals. Also had many of the small things like coffee filters, foil, a few zip lock bags etc that saved us having to pick up. We heard loons throughout our stay, and saw a bald eagle fly over the pond a few times. Its 10 minutes from Augusta, grocery less than 6 miles away. Communication was great with host.
