The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!"

"They had microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator with freezer, TV, AC, heater, nice, clean, well maintained room though floor was sticky, their toilet were on septic system so can't flush toilet paper 1 toilet paper roll was given. Motel was located on highway and Rooms where accessible directly from outside no need to go through main door of main building."

"Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit."

"Great location near highway, shops, and restaurants. Older hotel showing its age and very much in need of renovations. Staff were polite, breakfast was good. Value for money for the stay was debatable given the condition of the hotel."

"Came to town for a graduation. Didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. But the rooms were clean, it was quiet so that was all good. The plug in our tub did not work, had to stuff a facecloth in it. The outside parking lot area around the hotel was dirty, which is not a good first impression."

"Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. If they were all like this I would NEVER stay in a hotel again."
