The Space:
From the carefully selected whimsical beach decor to the comfortable luxury bedding, this home has been designed for you just to relax and unwind. Listen to those surf sounds and feel that breeze only the coast can create. The Boardwalk by the Beach is waiting for you! (Exterior and aerials photos shown taken Feb 2025)

Originally the developer's own home, no expense was spared in building this unique shaped modern home located in one of the few private gated communities in the area. From the gun-barreled copper roof to the curved walls and archways throughout, to the wide open views of the beach and the bay, this is a one-of-a-kind property.

- Primary Suite (level 2) = king w/ luxury en suite bath with soaker tub and separate shower plus twin day bed with a trundle (sleeps 4)

- 4th Bedroom (level 3) = twin w/ twin trundle w/ adjoining half bath (sleeps 2)

FEATURES/AMENITIES: gated community near local restaurants, coffee shop, gas station; Outdoor - 4 x wraparound decks/balconies (most covered), plenty of seating and tables, outdoor shower, extra lot for beach games; Indoor - 2 x fireplaces, TVs in every bedroom and living room w/ Roku, huge kitchen with double ovens, dishwasher, microwave, wet bar area w/ small dishwasher and sink, washer, dryer, elevator and more.

EASY CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT:
It's easy to stay with us and secure too! Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.

The Neighborhood:
This home is located in a gated high-end neighborhood, The Boardwalk, with beachfront and 2nd row homes right in the heart of Jamaica Beach. It is walking distance to a few local restaurants, hardware store, gas station and coffee shop.

JAMAICA BEACH:
Jamaica Beach is a 979 Crew well-loved community located about 10 minutes from the heart of Galveston and is part of the island's desirable West End offering restaurants, grocery, and beach-worthy activities. Jamaica Beach has access to the Gulf side as well as the Bay side (house dependent) and also has its own fire and police department plus city park with pool. Jamaica Beach's boat launch is restricted. If you plan on bringing a boat, the closest public launch is at Waterman's off Stewart Road about 3 miles east of Jamaica Beach.

Come visit and enjoy ALL the outdoor adventures you could want! Watch dolphins, fish from the pier (or from one of our canal, bay or beachside rental homes), surf the waves, kayak, beach comb and soak up the sun and sea air. And after a day of activities, stop by one of the nearby popular hangouts - The West End Marina & Restaurants, The Waterman Seafood Grill and/or Nate's West End for a fun atmosphere to enjoy snacks, cocktails or meal!

The 979 Crew is comprised of island locals who are passionate about making sure the home you chose is nothing short of clean, comfortable, and ready for your group's fun! Every home is fully and professionally cleaned after each guest stay. In addition, all of our homes feature luxury hotel-quality/high thread count on all sheets, bedding, and bath towels which are replaced upon every turnover including the duvet covers and shams (we've heard not every company does this, and we think that's just gross). We take clean seriously! When you rent a 979 home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, tp and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and the 979 Crew aims to deliver on that commitment. We love our island guests!

WIFI/TV SERVICE:
Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!

979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
For any new reservation, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations.

After that, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less the booking fee.

Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to their terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. Please reference the site where you originally reserved your stay.
