Great views and the bay surrounds you in this historic me with great views. You can't find a more breathtaking view of West Galveston Bay than from this wonderful home. The sunsets are amazing every day. Enjoy the sunsets form your upper of lower deck. Enjoy the breeze, eat, BBQ or enjoy a cool drink in your private hide-a-way on the first floor of this unique home. You can bring your own boat to enjoy cruising the bay or fishing. There is a dock for your boat. Also overhead fishing lights cover your 150 feet right on the bay and the fishing is great. There is no house on the bay as unique as this home. Surrounded on three sides by water this is a true peninsula. You can even crab most of the year. This house sits on two lots at the end of the road on the east side of Jamaica Beach. The state park is to the east and Galveston's West bay is all around you. Enjoy all new quartz countertops. Also, in season, enjoy Jamaica Beach's brand new pool for a small charge per day. There is a great walking path beginning at this home that goes around Jamaica Beach. About a 3/4 mile walk to the pool. Even in the hottest months the southern breeze blows cool through the first level entertainment
NOTE: THE GOOGLE MAP SPOTS THIS HOUSE INCORRECTLY. IT IS AT THE VERY END OF JOLLY ROGER ON THE TIP OF THE PENINSULA. WATER ON 3 SIDES!!!

The location was really great. Water front,very big paved parking space, very well maintained lower decking and fishing area, The bait shop with live bait was only 6min away, convenience and liquor store was just 3 min away. The interior was little old, but still working. Everything was great and we had really good time there.

We found this location to be perfect for a family gathering and getaway. Our stay was delightful, and we cherished every moment. The serene atmosphere enabled us to fully appreciate both sunrise and sunset. The quiet and relaxing ambiance was ideal. Our children loved the house and did not want to leave. We had a successful fishing trip, catching numerous fish and crabs. The host was very gracious, allowing us to check in early and check out late to accommodate our children's fishing love. Thank you for the wonderful experience; we highly recommend this place and will refer friends and family.

Great sunset view

House is amazing. Nice fishing. View on sunset at back house by the water are amzing. Had issue with light in hallway and bathroom. Contact host and took care of issue promptly. All in all everything was great.

JACOBS' FISHING WEEKEND

We had a great weekend. This house is a great location. House needs some updating. Shower between the two bedrooms on the main floor does not work; all the alliumin patio doors acceot the main entry door needs to be replaced. Most of the sliding patio doors are very difficult to open which could be an issue in case of an emergency; need lights on the outside stairs on the west side of the house; the outside pier flights need to be replaced as they are Not fishing lights and do not attract the fish at night and finally, the kitchen needs adequate bowls for storage and use in coking. I was advised back in April of 2025 the house was being updated within 60 days bit it appears ut dud not happen as this is July 26, 2025. The owner of the property csme by on yesterday and introduced herself. She was very nice.

Great Fishing Location

If you are looking for a great fishing location, this is it. This home is on the bay, not a channel. We saw dolphins, the grandkids caught lots of crabs that were clean and beautiful as well as fish. We couldn't figure out the key and owner called me right away. Housekeeper even came on a holiday to see if I needed more sheets and towels. Very open communication with owner. Best part of this house is the space all to itself with bottom area to get together for fishing or enjoying the breeze and animal watching.

Best sunset view and great fishing

Dishwasher is rusted , need to replace it! 4 knobs missing on one of the dresser, need to replace those old dresser! Like the new leather sofa ! 4 porch lights , only one worked! Need to update some floor and curtains! Location is great!! A/C worked great, we enjoyed the stay.

View of bay is great, house in need of repairs. Circa 1980’s. Deck is rotted, bathroom door delaminated, bathroom ceilings moisture damage, kitchen counter damaged, dock section not level, buckled walls in bathroom, 1 toilet wouldn’t flush, broken fishing rod holders, tv remote corroded batteries,broken rack in refrigerator,poorly maintained home, not worth the price

Fun in the sun filled weekend!

We had a wonderful time with family this weekend! The location and sunset can’t be beat. We fished all weekend and spent the majority of our time outside. The a/c kept the house plenty cold in August, which was such a nice relief. We had 4 families with kids ranging from 14 to 5, and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Thank you for a fun weekend rental!
