Welcome to the home away from home of your dreams! This peaceful and well-equipped two-story home enjoys a wonderful location in a nice quiet community offering traditional country living on Galveston Island. Downtown Galveston and all of its amazing attractions and restaurants are nine miles away. Other amazing local attractions include Sunny Beach, Magic Carpet Golf, Moody Gardens, Galveston Island State Park, Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, The Grand 1894 Opera House, Bishop’s Palace, and the Galveston Railroad Museum.

This remodeled snowbird-friendly boasts two separate homes - one on each floor. As you enter the upstairs floor, you will discover an air-conditioned open floor plan that seamlessly combines all living spaces into one. The living room boasts inviting sofas where you can spread out comfortably as you watch fun shows and movies on the TV. Board games and children's games are also provided for additional entertainment. When mealtime comes, surprise everyone with your culinary skills and prepare delicious homemade meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The kitchen is complete with all stainless steel appliances and everything needed to prepare savory treats. The primary suite enjoys an en suite bathroom. Additional perks include a covered deck with seating and a washer/dryer.

The downstairs retreat has also been remodeled to offer a wonderful vacation spot. As you enter, you will be greeted by an inviting open floor plan. Spread out comfortably in the living room, furnished with comfy sofas and a TV. Spend entertaining evenings watching a fun show or movie, or playing any of the provided board games. Show off your culinary skills and prepare exquisite homemade meals and treats in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with all the essentials that will make cooking a breeze. The home boasts a secluded working space with a desk and a chair where you can join video calls and work remotely.

Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
The queen sofa bed is in the upstairs home.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Security camera details: There are four cameras pointing at front doors, backyard, and driveway.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
