"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Black Bear. The cabin was everything we needed and super comfortable. The hot tub, the view from the back porch, the quiet was spectacular, especially the nature's light show in the trees by the creek at night. It was magical. Hope to get to stay again. "I rented this location for our summer vacation as part of a Christmas present for my astronomy-loving son. It was only about 20 minutes from Cherry Springs State Park, but on a clear night, you also had a beautiful view of the night sky from the property. The house itself was lovely and clean, and it had almost everything we needed for our stay (we second the suggestion for adding a tea kettle). "The A-frame was very clean and very quite. Very peaceful place to stay and relax. There was a couple of restaurants that was closed by and had good food. I highly recommend it and we would definitely come back."

"We had a very nice weekend getaway! The cabin is really nice! Went to the lumberjack museum. Spent the afternoon in Wellsboro eating at the diner and then shopping. In the evening we enjoyed a nice campfire for hotdogs and smores!"
