"Very comfortable, nice to have an onsite restaurant. Great breakfasts. Staff were very accommodating. Nice furnishings in the room - modern bathroom. I left my jacket in the wardrobe and realized 4 days later! I emailed and received a quick response. Housekeeping had it and it was posted to me the next day. Thank you so much!"

"I have visited the quay on a number of occasions and it just gets better. The location is superb looking over the estuary, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I would truly recommend the Quay hotel to anyone and lm sure they would not be disappointed. Shaun the manager runs a tight ship which certainly makes your stay enjoyable in all all departments. "We had a lovely break with our 2 grandsons. The family room was amazing, with a separate twin bedded room for the boys. Both rooms had en suite facilities too. The pool area is lovely, and the location is perfect for the beach. "

At check-in, reception staff called Victoria was not very welcome and did not seem keen on relocating us to another room (the one given to us was on a lower level and the lift was out of order). I was with a 1 year old child, pregnant and had heavy suitcases, however she insisted there's was nothing she could do to help, treated us poorly and did not seem to care. "We had a lovely last minute stay at the wild pheasant hotel. No complaints other than that the rooms are incredibly warm. We brought our own fan as previous reviews stated the same. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. "

"Lovely property with very friendly and helpful staff. Big relaxing and inviting bar area. The pool area was ok, the hot tub was warm not hot but still relaxing after a long hike. Not a place where you can rest on lounge chairs but if you wanted to swim, sauna, steam room then perfect. Stayed in a lodge room which was the best choice, very quiet and view to greenery and trees. Room and bathroom very spacious. Highly recommend."
