The Log House is approximately 2,600 square feet of comfort and joy.
3 levels; bedroom (queen) and bath on each level for your own space and privacy.
Main Floor: Great room -hardwood floors - vaulted wood ceiling - floor to ceiling boulder fireplace open to a sunny dining room and fully equipped kitchen with center island. Powder room and Master bedroom with whirlpool tub - separate shower.
Upper Level: Bedroom-bath-loft (great space for reading) overlooking the Great Room.
Lower Level: Gathering Room with pool table - TV. Bedroom - bath - laundry room. Patio with outdoor seating. Deck with hot tub kept hot year-round.

My wife and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary and it was exactly what we were hoping for! Quiet neighborhood with walking trails, golf courses and beautiful scenery. Enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub every day!

Our stay was great. The cabin is very clean and well kept. The only issues that we had was the grill never came up to heat might need the gas burners cleaned out and the dryer in the basement took about 3 times to get clothes dry. We LOVE coming to this cabin as this is the 2nd time to rent and we our planning to rent again. Thanks for the great stay and letting us use your cabin.

Place was just as described. Owners are super responsive. Hot tubbing post-skiing with the falling snow was a highlight. Also cross-country skied the beautiful trails, which are quite close to the cabin.

This property was beautiful and perfect for our weekend getaway. The cabin layout was great, all three couples had their own space on separate floors.

This property was clean and all systems worked except the gas fireplace. The place is exactly as pictured. Everything and I mean everything in this rental is dated to the 80ā€™s and so very tired. The log home is of good quality with a nice layout but everything is old and low qualityā€¦not up to current standards. The grill and hot tub worked well. The beds are awful and have foam toppers that make the beds hot and uncomfortable. Two have footboards(inconvenient for us tall people) and all are queens with poor quality sheets and bedding. The gas fireplace log set is very old. The pilot light blew out as soon as we opened the glass doors. We know how to operate gas and electric fireplaces as we have 3 in our own home. We did not attempt to use it. Looked too risky. The fire pit was uncovered and filled with old wet ashes. The log pile was not covered so there was no dry firewood. We could not start a fire. The pool table is very old and in poor condition. We still had fun but it was an interesting game of nine ball. Would not returnā€¦this is my honest opinion and meant to help others. We spent over $1,000 for 2 nights in November for two people. Had to buy damage insurance for a house full of old items.

This rental is exactly as advertised. Though our stay was short, it immediately felt comfortable and we all settled in quickly. Itā€™s tucked away amongst beautiful trees and wildlife, yet close to Galena and all it offers. We all agree we want a longer stay next time! Messages to host were answered quickly!

The house has all the touches to make your stay comfortable. With 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, each couple had private space. The deck and screened porch were lovely as our weather was in the 70s.

We stayed at the log cabin for a week for my parents 50th anniversary, and we had a great time! The cabin is cozy yet spacious, really liked the 3 bedrooms and baths all on different levels. We also loved the screened in porch, we had coffee in the mornings and cocktails in the evening out there every day! The location of the cabin within the territory is also nice, itā€™s close to the Owners Club and marina. Itā€™s a beautiful area and you feel like youā€™re in the secluded woods with all the trees surrounding the cabin. We golfed, swam, boated, shopped, and ate some great meals - both off the grill and at restaurants downtown ;) We made many memories and would definitely come back!

My sister and I stayed here for a girls weekend with our teen and preteen girls. We had a wonderful time. The house was clean and fully stocked with all you would need. The hosts replied immediately when we had a question. The kids enjoyed the pool table and we all enjoyed the hot tub. It was a wonderful cabin in a beautiful area. Thank you!

We were all very impressed with the cabin. Everyone had plenty of time together but big enough to spread out at times. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Some of us even made it to the community pool.

First time in this area, it is very pristine community, plenty to do when you combine the amenities the area offers then include the different communities like Galena. The home is well balanced, I especially liked that it had 3 sperate levels of the house with its own bedroom, bathroom, sitting area and privacy. While in a neighborhood the lots are exceptionally large, and this home is somewhat divided off from the others giving you a feel of privacy. Be sure to take advantage of the owner's club, very nice.
