"A vert sweet and peaceful place. I also enjoyed the activities of the adjacent yoga studio where I did a gentle breath work session and received an incredible massage from Cynthia, the owner of this B&B. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is of great quality. It was a perfect layover stay during my long drive. "

"The suite was clean, the sheets/bedding very comfortable, some croissants and coffee left for me to have. Very eco-friendly environment with a lovely view of the gardens. This was an incredible stay. I travel a lot for work and this was easily one of the best, if not the best, stay I've ever had. "

"The bathroom ceiling was lined with thick black mold all around. Ceiling fan in bathroom is filthy and not working. A gaping hole in the bathroom wall filled with kleenex or toilettepaper. The taps were not secured and bolted or caulked. The shower tap is not installed correctly and doesn't turn off until you hit that perfect spot. The shower curtain is neglected and filthy and old. Simple care can fix these issues and yet got overlooked like black mold is nothing??? Have pictures to...

"The room and house was spotless, cozy and comfortable. The bed was so comfy. So many extras and luxuries that made our stay amazing. Breakfast was delicious and presented with so much attention to detail. Rose is a gem - kind and hospitable. We highly recommend it here when you are in the Port Hope area. "

"I hope they were just having one of those weeks but it seemed a bit less taken care of since we last visited. Lovely staff. "

"We had to go out late to find a store and buy our own bedding the room was so dirty, bedding was stained even the shower curtain was stained. Parking was ok. Pictures make it look good but looks are deceiving. Beds were comfortable once we put our own bedding on to protect against the stains and bloody needle marks. Oh, and the front desk guy was sleeping and we couldn’t wake him up had to go back outside and ring the bell. Awkward."

"Overall, we enjoyed our family's stay and felt it was a very family-friendly hotel. Our kids loved the pool, which was saltwater, but we worried about the cleanliness of the pool. The daily breakfast was good and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Parking was easy and hassle-free. Our room lacked a bathroom fan and we noticed our room got very humid after our two-day stay. "

"It's basic with no amenities, but the rooms are big and you can't beat the price. Close to the 401, and downtown Cobourg. I would stay there again. "

"Cold water shower first morning. There was hot water later that day and the next morning. Another traveller with me got double billed. It was worked out but did delay her day by about 20 minutes. Rooms were basic but fine. Microwave and fridge in my room both worked fine. "
