"I stayed with my friends and family mid. November, even though all the trees had lost their leaves the views from the porch were stunning. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and plenty of space. Yes, the driveway is steep but, after doing it once it’s not a problem. I personally wouldn’t attempt it in a car though. We had 2 small SUVs and just used the low gear. Linda was very fast responding to our questions. We hope to come back when it’s warmer."

Unfortunately for us, the temperature dropped into the 40s, but I managed to spend some time reading and listening to the stream behind the house on the porch. We loved all of the details. The artwork and photos on the walls were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great! Our only problem was the WiFi and password were incorrect. "Very clean and furnished with EVERYTHING you might need. Single lane road proved challenging on one occasion when we came head to head with 2 other vehicles and a ditch on each side. Driveway near by enabled us to pull over a little…but not too far as backing down the driveway would be difficult. Driveway to our house was steep but much better. Good shopping and eating in town plus easy drive to Waynesville and Cherokee."

"We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and perfect for us and 2 kids. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and caught a few trout. We enjoyed playing games at night and built a bon fire. The location was perfect. We were able to visit some nearby waterfalls and drove south to Tallulah falls and Clayton Georgia for a day as well!"
