"I stayed in the McCulloch Suite in the Sion Bass House (one of the two adjacent historic homes which make up this property). The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in instructions which were emailed the day of check-in were very clear. There was a folding ironing board, iron, lots of extra towels, literature related to the history of the property and the city (for anyone who might be interested). "Disappointed. The parking area is small due to large trucks using hotel. First room had a large air cleaner running due to the smell. Requested different room and the entry door stuck so bad you had to use your shoulder to open and close it. That room also smelled. We travel with a dog and have no problem paying the pet fee, realizing that special attention is needed as far as cleaning. But the smells in the 2 rooms did not come from animals. Will not be back"

"The room we were given was dirty. Food crumbs on the chairs and floor. Trash not emptied. No toilet paper. Stained towels. The beds were comfortable enough and the room temp was nice. Would not stay there again or recommend to others."
