Spectacular Unobstructed Gulf View from Every Room

From sun up to sundown, this gulf-view, gorgeous condominium on the 4th floor of Surfside Resort in Destin has a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico like no other. You get the best of the views, the shimmering sands, and the vast blue-green Gulf of Mexico, straight ahead and magnificent clear view of the sunset to the west.

You will feel like you are in heaven!and you sip your morning coffee on your private balcony overlooking the crystal clear waters and plan your day ahead. You can take a stroll on the beach, take a dip in the pool, work up a sweat in the fitness room. Walk to one of Destin's fine restaurants or just relax at the beach and sink your toes in the powdery white sand.

This unit has all the comforts of home with 2 flat screen TVs with DVD players and all the tools you would need in a kitchen to make a gourmet meal or a snack.

This unit has two bedrooms,and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed that is as comfortable as clouds. The guest room has a queen size bed. The living room has a queen-size pull-out sofa.

Surfside Resort is located close to amusement parks, shopping stores and many fine restaurants.

Good location, bad unit

Great location and area. Good pool, great restaurant. 2 minutes to a beautiful beach. The unit itself is run down. Lights flickering, not overly clean. Cabinets new but the rest is in need of a renovation.

Good stay 👍

Location/beach access was great. Wear and tear, pics look better than in person. No pool/beach towels or beach things (coolers/chairs/games). I feel like a typical beach place always has those things. Only 1 tiny tv in a bedroom had accessible apps. Main tv is small and just has cable. Cold water barely works in the main bath sink, so you will burn your hands every time you wash your hands, brush teeth, wash face. Overall, best bang for your buck in the area 👍

Not what was expected

The photos online weren’t an actual representation of the actual condo. States it sleeps 8 but I was notified the day before our stay to bring a blow up mattress. The were hairs all around the shower, the towels were stained, the master bedroom lights above the bed were out. Lighting was terrible in the entire condo, the light between the master and the living room would not turn off (switch was broken), no ceilings fans throughout the entire condo, the water faucets in the shower were terrible and parking was an issue. Definitely would not stay there again!

Easy Beach Access!!!

This was our 1st trip to this area and we were very glad we stayed at Surfside Resort as it seemed to be one of the better resorts with easy access to the beach. All you had to do was either walk across the street or use the bridge that would take you right to the beach where the resort had chairs and umbrellas, some condos don't have that included in their price but it was $50 a day and very worth it. Also walking distance to several food and gift shops. The only downfall would be the parking if you have a taller truck. However if you are in a car or smaller SUV they had plenty of parking.

July 4th week

Overall it was a great place. I would rent again but not big enough for kids and adults . This is a great view of the ocean and watching the fireworks of the other hotelel on the left side. Traffic is normal and several places within walking distance. Ice is the only issue it is not availble. Overall it was great vacation. Surfs Hut restaurant is the bomb and you can go to the beach out the back door

Nice stay for our short getaway.

Overall this place is PERFECT for a small family. There’s some wear and tear, but thats expected from a rental. The pool and hot tubs were great. It was nice to have a beach walk over the road which is a lot safer especially if you have little kids. Condo: Living room: Living room was set up well. We didn’t really use it. One of the sliding glass doors didn’t open but that wasn’t a deal breaker since there were others to use. Kitchen: The kitchen was nice. Looks like it just had some nice new cabinets installed. Although we didn’t cook since we stayed a short time and wanted to explore there were plenty of kitchen items. Bathrooms: The bathrooms were clean when we arrived. There are plenty of towels and they even provide a few little soaps just in case you forget yours. I do want to warm that the water gets VERY hot whether it’s the shower or the sink. Bedrooms: There was only 2 of us so we only used one room. The master bedroom was very spacious. The bed was comfortable and there’s access to the balcony. Laundry: A perc was the in unit washer and dryer. Although the lint trap on the dryer needs a good cleaning. It took about 2 cycles for everything to dry, but they worked fairly well. Checkin: We did not do the early checkin although I HIGHLY recommend to do so. EVERYONE checks in at the same time which causes a cluster. Since we checked in on Monday it wasn’t to terrible but the front desk said there was over 100 people on Saturday and it was hectic.

Great location.

I loved my time at this condo. The host made checking in very easy. The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The only negative and it had nothing to do with the host or the condo was the heated pool was not working. I will definitely be looking to renting this condo in the future.

Great View

The view of this place is amazing, great access to the beach, close to all shopping centers and souvenir shops. Only down side was the cleanliness! When we got there the place seemed like someone MAYBE wiped it down with a singular Clorox wipe. There was human hair all on the shower walls of the master shower which was gross. Was told the kitchen was fully equipped but it had one cutting board, a few pots and pans and poorly sharpened or broken knives. This overall didn’t make our stay horrible but it would have been nice to have this taken care of for the price we payed. Communication was great from the jump however! It’s a good place for people 18-25 because we were on the beach most of the time!

This is a great condo at a great location! There’s no staff on sight Sunday- Thursday but we had no problem figuring out parking passes and getting to our condo thanks to the email instructions from the owner. We would definitely go back! Our only complaints at all are 2 things, the fridge did not get cold so things we bought were going bad and had to be thrown away. And secondly I could not get our clothes to dry and when I checked the dryer it looked like no one has ever cleaned the lint trap out. I got as much out as I could but I shouldn’t have to do that.

Birthday trip

I stayed here for my birthday trip and loved it. The unit was clean and spacious. The host was very accommodating and responded to messages very quickly. It’s a great location as it’s minutes away from attractions, grocery stores, and food places.

But the view!! The beach !!!

Great balcony view! Condo is spacious and clean. A few upgrades would be nice but nothing to deter from the great stay. We had a great time and plan to visit again!

Great Location

The unit actually was better than described online . The owner communicated promptly and resolved any issues we had in a timely manner. The location and view were fantastic ! The property offers lots of amenities and the staff was very friendly and accommodating! We would definitely rent again .

View, Location, & Price

If you are looking for a budget-friendly condo with a beautiful view and are ok with some imperfections, you'll do well with this location. We prioritized view, location, and price. As some commented previously, there are broken tiles, paint chips, scuffs on the walls, and outdated appliances/fixtures. I would agree that the cleaning crew isn't great but this was in relation to the walls, drapes, and surfaces....and some leftover decorations from the previous renters. The bed and bath linens were all laundered. The crew made sure to Lysol every square inch as we could smell it for the first couple of days we stayed. Not deal-breakers for us. I would suggest to check-in before 6 pm so that the grounds crew is there. You cannot access the beach or parking area (legally) at all without a gate code or parking tag. You can still drive to public access locations if you would like beach access before receiving the gate code. As for parking, I would suggest leaving the SUV or Full-Sized truck at home. The parking garage is low clearance and the attached restaurant tends to take up all of the outdoor spaces available for slightly taller vehicles. We simply parked on the street until a space was available and then moved our vehicle to avoid being ticketed for parking overnight on the street. Ibrahim apologized for the issues with the master shower and 3 of the 4 sliding glass doors. He has tried to get them repaired but the condo management has not addressed the problems. If you are searching for luxury, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for affordability/location/view, this is your place.

Room NOT cleaned

Check in was at 4PM and it was dirty. They had not cleaned it. There were items left behind from previous person. Broken tile and chairs. Lights didn't work properly. Smell very musty. Location was great, but if you are going with a family and children the place that I rented was not the place to stay at. How unfortunate! I also asked the manager to call me and he didn't. He just messaged me and told me to go grab something to eat with my family and the place was going to be clean. When you are in the car with seven children for 15 hours the last thing you want to do is get in the car again to get something to eat. Especially when we got there until after 5PM.

SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED!!!

This unit is not accurately advertised, it was loud due to the trash compactor just below. The condo was not clean and in disrepair. Tiles chipped and cracked. Paint chipped on corners, scrapes and cracks in the paint on the walls, the shower heads were crusted with lime. The master bedroom the mattress was ripped left Hand top corner, and stained in the middle top. The pillows were stained. The microwave was in rough shape and not clean, coffee filter holder was not clean. Living room furniture worn out and not comfortable, coffee table with water rings and not clean. We had to buy cleaning supplies just to make the place sanitary. We also bought new pillows for us to sleep and a mattress cover that we threw away after we checked out. Spoke with the owner he apologized for the inconvenience, said he spoke with the cleaning lady and was told she had cleaned it but I have pictures I offered to send him that proved different. Renters pay a hefty cleaning fee and rent that is clearly not being used to keep up this unit/condo. We will not recommend this condo to anyone so beware of what you read in the advertising! I hope the owner uses this as an incentive to fix the condo. I recommend they make their cleaning staff take pictures or video and send them after each cleaning if they can not check it firsthand!
