"We absolutely loved our stay at Kingfisher. It was perfectly located to explore the Big Bend Area and a great place to just relax and enjoy beautiful sunrises, starry nights and sunsets. This modern home was clean, very comfortable and “well equipped”. Check in and checkout was effortless. Highly recommended stay…we stayed 5 nights and was sad to leave."

"Jim was a great host. Very responsive! The place is small but set up perfect with great use of the space. We had all the comforts of home. Our favorite part was sitting outside listening to the radio by the fire. While stargazing! There’s a small but nice park not far from the house and several local restaurants. The grocery store is small but has a little bit of everything, just expect to pay double. I was a bit sticker shocked. There is a bigger grivery store in Alpine with reasonable prices...
