"Easy access, room and bath cleans and all the resource was running well but dec26 the coffee machine at breakfast room was out off order and were not available brown bread and only one fruit , apple. Otherwise it was according as expected."

"The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend!"

"I loved everything about it!!!! However the patio up top and the stars go great together!! It was by far the most comfy, cute place I’ve stayed. The calm and quiet was an added bonus! This is the way to go when traveling to Alpine! I can’t wait to visit again! Everything you need in a tiny, comfy place."

"We stayed here for two nights while visiting the McDonald Observatory in the Davis Mountains. The unit itself was clean, the A/C worked very well, and there was plenty of hot water.There were, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The photos of the back patio are outdated. The space currently has a patio table and a plastic picnic table, but the patio table hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The umbrella was a nice touch and provided good shade, but there was an empty water...

"The property was beautiful and we loved the remote feeling. The stars were beautiful to watch at night! My only complaint is that two weeks before the reservation I asked about if a portable grill, stovetop burner or small charcoal grill was aloud and then messaged two days before and never received an answer. I did have to contact the host day of to receive the code because somehow I didn’t get an email from the host about check in and WiFi code. That was sorted out when I called instead of...
