"Comfortable nice cabin, great porchIt is on a hard curve so there is some traffic going by but very little. I would just be careful if you did bring a pet. There were deer in the morning which we loved. The river is accessible and if weather has been nicer I think we would have spent most of our time down there."

"The property is gorgeous. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very responsive to our questions. We would definitely book this lil slice of heaven again. "

"Open design with elements of mid century and modern day mixed. I like older homes for their lived in feel. The furnishings in the bed rooms and the vintage paint by number paintings are my favorite. I’ll definitely stay there again. The deck on the back of the house provides a great view off the brow."

"The house was comfortable and quiet. Pretty much everything we needed was supplied. As nice as the house was my favorite part was the porch. There is nothing more calming to me than to sit in a rocking chair and watch the sunset. "

"A unique experience on the bus and beautifully decorated. A nice outdoor seating area overlooking the cotton fields with views of gorgeous sunsets. The hosts were most accommodating to let us love on their farm animals and answered all one million questions we had. "

"Our stay was fantastic! My wife and I needed some time to reset and get a way and this is just what we needed. The views were fabulous! Gods beauty in His creation is exquisite! We did a bit of hiking in and around DeSoto Falls and visited a few places in Mentone and Ft Payne! Tony the owner was great We will visit again! "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Garden Cottage. It certainly lives up to its name! We loved walking the property and seeing the beautiful plants and a little wildlife. The location is excellent because it is close to town, Brow Park (gorgeous sunsets!!), and DeSoto Park. The cottage itself is adorable and the perfect size. The kitchen was a dream come true and I enjoyed baking in the double ovens.. the living room is comfortable, the bathroom was plenty big, and the beds were very comfy. We hope...

"We were looking for a short getaway and we were not disappointed. Clean, cozy cottage in a quiet enclave with everything we needed. It was truly a home away from home. Day trips to Huntsville, Scottsboro and nearby outdoor recreation spots were an easy drive with lazy afternoons at the pool and late night stargazing. This cottage was perfect for our small family!"
