Pool house with beautiful sunset, water view, direct gulf access. You can view manatees, alligators and other wild life right from the backyard. Close to everything, downtown, highway 75, baseball stadiums, beaches, parks, etc.

Beautiful emerald mangroves with pearl-white flowers in the morning slowly quieting with the rippling river tide as the most spectacular sunsets emblazons the sky as you enjoy long restful evenings in the pool!

Tranquility! Book for your business trips and experience quaint, quiet evenings that energize you for successful business deals. Or book a longer stay and work from this river paradise where your office looks out upon a river teaming with jumping fish, turtles, alligators, manatees, and numerous species of water fowl!

Take a day trip to the Everglades, take a trip to the minor-league ballpark where farm teams for Minnesota, Boston and many others hold their seasons, or go to Ice Hockey!

NOTE: we no longer allow fishing from our backyard due to neighbor complaints about feeding alligators and accidentally hooking their boats. Also, guests are responsible to stay out of our neighbors’ yards.

There is so much to do when you stay at this river paradise that you’ll yearn to stay a few days several times each year! UPDATE: Heated Pool as of January 15, 2024.
All bookings prior to this date were not charged for updated services. Rates were adjusted to reflect heated pool after this date.

Wedding Anniversary Stay

The house was nicely put back together after Ian. It had everything we wanted. The new pool heat was a huge bonus! Be sure to check out the BoatHouse on the river and JonesZ BBQ on Palm 80.

Women's Florida trip

This property was convenient to a multitude of activities. The house was very clean and communication with the host was always very easy. The host is quick to respond and amenable to our requests. Would stay here again.

Long weekend stay

I would stay here again - the only thing I would suggest to the owners is that I think the patio door needs to be replaced as well as the whole patio/pool area needs a little TLC. I have to say I did try and text the owners once, but no reply. I can't fully remember what the issue was but it must have been minor as we figured it out. For the price we paid this was a good rental unit. I would rent again!

Great stay for the price.

Stated here the 3rd week of March and overall the home was great. The only big complaint we had was the pool not being heated, was unbearable to swim in ir. Some other minor issues were several torn screes in the cage and the wifi TV randomly buffers when watching.

The home was very clean and well appointed. The host thought of little things to make our stay pleasant. The home is nestled in a peaceful neighborhood and the views of the canal and sunset were beautiful. We don't know the area but found that with traffic we were a little far from almost anything we tried to get to. Otherwise the stay was relaxing and worth what we paid.

Could be nice - Unfortunately Not Clean or Well Maintained

The property is nice - the location is good - the neighborhood is nice. Unfortunately, cleanliness or maintenance is not a top priority. Stove, frig, toaster dirty and toaster has broken lever. Most concerning is mold in master bathroom shower. Broken chairs by pool, broken latch on screen door by pool and holes in the pool screen enclosure. Corner of large rug under bed in guest bedroom turned up - tripping hazard - we duct taped it down. We advised owners of all concerns - they thanked us - whether anything is done to improve the issues is unknown. Hopefully so, it has the potential to be a nice property.

Quaint and Quiet

From step one to the end the owners were friendly, quick to respond and accommodating! The place was as described and the neighborhood is quiet which was a bonus for us! Grocery store and main staples close but limited for restaurants. Not too big a deal if you don’t mind venturing out! The pool is not heated, but we knew that going in, once sun hits it is not too bad! We enjoyed our stay!

Quick weekend getaway

We came for a quick weekend getaway and absolutely loved our stay. The house was very comfortable and had a beautiful pool and canal in the back. The neighbors are also very nice. We would definitely stay here again.
