Everything we expected and needed for a restful stay in the beautiful historical town of Grass Valley. The home was walking distance from everything we needed. "Inside the house, things were fine. No complaints other than the drapes in front room, and dining area had over a foot of material resting on the floor, easily covering up heating vents - health/fire hazard? Outside the house, the yard is in total disrepair. Steep porch steps with no rail - another health risk for elderly people like us. Nice community. Nice house. Just needs better care."

"Beautiful property and wonderful host. Close property was well maintained and provided beautiful areas for lounging and picnicking. Plenty of room beyond that for exploring and hiking. The host was gracious and spent some time talking to us, however was not invasive at all and afforded us plenty time to ourselves. Really enjoyed the animals and meeting the desert tortoise. 100% will stay again in the future."

"We stayed here in December and fell in love so scheduled a trip to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend! We had a great time and enjoyed lounging on the patio. The only thing to note is the kitchen is pretty empty - no staples and not a lot of basic kitchen items - no biggie, just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on cooking, like we were."
