"Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends."

We arrived late on Friday, after picking up my wife from the airport, but the reception staff were ready and waiting and when we decided to go to the bar for a nightcap, the bar staff were friendly and not rushed at all, even with only hand an hour till closing. "A beautiful house in a lovely location. My room was extremely comfortable, as was my bed. The bathroom was great, with a powerful shower. Breakfast was fantastic, and the owners waited for me when I arrived late from the ferry coming in to Portsmouth, which I hugely appreciated. A lovely, peaceful B&B. "

The staircase could be difficult for some, as it's obviously an old one built when treads weren't as deep. Nicely set up room, though small in size. Would definitely stay there again!
