"As soon as we entered the room and opened the bathroom door there was an awful smell of wet dirty rag and the floor was wet. A member of staff offered to apply some airfreshner which did not solve the problem at all, it just hid it for a while. I think it was the bathtub drain. Remote controls were sticky and they wiped them after requested. "Had a lot more hope for this property. First they were not happy we booked though Expedia and not through them. Second the first room was damaged with a broken bed frame. Went directly to front desk to fix as soon as got to the room. Took a while to fix that with no apology. Got a new room. Some staff friendly and some not. First thing that strikes you is the stains on the carpet and dirty hallways that need cleaning. Room didn't have enough towels for 2 people. They did give us one extra...

" Very pleasant owners. Staff also. Unique in its appearance, rooms clean and warm very old building but well looked after, excellent for a central holiday in Aberdeenshire and Angus, very central to Perth, Dundee, and Aberdeen. A nice walk to the Tay, and your also on the edge of the Cairngorms."

"Não há uma recepção neste hotel. Nos atendem no meio da confusão do Pub super movimentado. Não há nada que justifique o preço exorbitante da estadia. Realmente péssimo custo benefício. Talvez o preço se justifique por ser uma cidade onde há muita pratica de golfe. Eu escolheria outro local para me hospedar. "The place was really nice in every way — relaxed and friendly staff, clean property, and reasonable prices. My only comment is that it wasn’t easy to find the location or the reception. We had to call for directions, as the postcode alone wasn’t sufficient. Once we parked the car, we had to phone again to locate the reception, but a friendly staff member came to our rescue. Now that we know where it is, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."
